  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

To those born 1980-1988.

'84. Honestly, with the exception of us being born, nothing happened in the 80's. We could just delete that decade and no one would notice.

1983 -- It was a good year!
Pig year
That´s right, the year in which two of the nicest guys I´ve ever met were born
Also, in 1982-1983 I definitely passed from being a dumb, mediocre student to being a dumb, brilliant student: that´s why I sometimes say I am mentally seven years (the process started in late 1981) younger

Anyone else here a Smashing Pumpkins fan?
better them than RAM

I saw them live, was blown away when they covered the Residents' "Hello Skinny."

Skinny was born in a bathtub,
and grew so incredibly thin
'til even the end of an eyedropper
sucked him in.....

im an '86 kid. Just old enough to remember the look on the Thatcher-bitch's face as she was ousted from Downing Street!! Pity it was by john major...
Remember the original Garfied too, where the end credits were just of him blinking...really slowly......again....and again..........

1983 for me. and when I was born my friend Tarah Reed came over and we had the time of our lives.

Dirk

I absolutely love it to death. I am kinda obsessed with the 80s and early 90s. The styles and stuff were just so bright and fun.

I like many 90s bands, Smashing Pumpkins included

as well as Alanis Morrisette, Nirvana, Tragically Hip, early Green Day, Matt Good Band, No Doubt, and... *points to avatar and sig*

I hardly see any 87'ers here....man i think that year was the best one! The year many stars rose (Evan Rachel wood, Michael Angarano, Hilary Duff (although I wish she wasn't 'cause I don't like her)....and also U2 released the Joshua Tree, one of the my favorite albums of all time!

i hate it!!!!!!
i wish i was born earlier, so i could be a teenager during late 60s n early 70s!!!

85 for me! And I'm happy to be born in that decade, they say it's the time of the "pretty boys".. With some exceptions, lol. ;)
