Yeah, it is just an attachment. Works great though and saves on flushable wipes and TP.

I'm sitting here thinking of a bidet, and what it is used for....and its ice-cold water line attachment to the toilet. :bartshock

I remember during the home remodeling craze, the market for old toilets was incredible.

Old toilets were built to a larger size and flawless construction - built to last.

Honestly the cold feels nice. Though I did read reviews saying up in the mountains was not so nice. Maybe TMI, but it is really nice when you are sick and have been shitting a lot.

With that said I do have one that can do hot or cold water, but we only hooked up the cold. I didn't want to cut into the cabinet to run the extra hose for the hot water.

I am not a renter but a toilet is very important! I have been in some hotel rooms it was like I was squatting in a ditch! Also some of the replacements we have had have been awful I do prefer an oblong seat as the round tend to cut my knees off and pinch my thigh/knee fat lol I know TMI! #-o Also the higher ones some are called handicapped or raised these are just generally more comfortable and if you break your foot like I did easier to get off of! Don't go el cheapo we did that and it was in our basement and cracked in the winter and leaked all over thank god we have a concrete basement!

My mom has one of those power flush toilets. It doesn’t hold any water in the tank but has a pressurized reservoir. Don’t flush it while your sitting on it cuz it will suck your balls down the drain.
In my experience, a well designed toilet rated at level 5 flush strength is plenty strong to flush whatever that needs to be flushed. What is the point of the pressurized power flush toilet?

I'm also not a renter. But I still have the old style toilet in my 2 bathrooms. Would like the more modern one that sits higher. Although I've read recently if you often have trouble with constipation, the higher seats make it harder to go.

Water use. You can get assisted flush toilets that use as little as 1 gallon of water

But they're no match for floaters.

Mainly the cheap ones. The good ones will flush everything. No poop knife needed. Seriously the one my mom has will scare you the first time you flush it while sitting on it.

I don't rent but just want to comment (perhaps a little late). I like the higher toilets, but families who have small children might find the children have trouble using them. I also like the longer ones, but we have a small lavatory with not much room and the smaller round one fits better in it although we have the longer one in the main bath. I don't know much about water flow, but some of the old water saver ones didn't flush enough water to clean the bowl. I don't know much about the power flush ones.

Good thing I stopped flooding HT with my threads so we can get riveting content like this. :rotflmao:
