I will usually tuck in my shirt if it's a dress shirt, but not always.

If I'm wearing a dress shirt or a Polo shirt, I will mostly tuck it in even away from work. A T-shirt will usually remain untucked.

I do have a couple of "button-downs" that don't have the traditional tail and are meant to wear untucked.

If it's a proper dress shirt, tucked.

If it's a polo/golf shirt, untucked.

People should just buy shirts that fit them and if they can't find one, get one made for them...

Pull your ass up (guys wearing their pants at halfway or more down their asses), a discusting fad that began in the prisons.

I would have thought people in prison would be doing the opposite... Keeping their ass covered as much as possible!

Agreed with RL.

About the shirt, when it's formal time, I always have my shirt/dress shirt tucked. Otherwise, usually untucked. Oh I do tuck my undershirts when I do wear them.

Depends on the shirt and my mood.

Loose, otherwise I find it constricting. I have a very long torso so it's rare to find a shirt sufficiently long enough.

The first guy is stylish.
The second are douchbags, I second bidude.

I was heading out this morning and noticed that my jeans were falling down.

I realized that, since it was not a work day, I did not have my shirt tucked in.

I feared the possible consequences of this.

I stopped (in the middle of the alley), tucked in my shirt, and proceeded confidently on my way, knowing that the extra fabric would insure that my jeans would not fall.

This is probably a good sign; I'm losing inches, apparently. I may have to keep my shirt tucked in until I get new smaller-sized jeans. Or until I wash these jeans until they shrink.

This is the only t-shirt I would ever wear tucked in...

I generally like the tucked in look because finishing touches matter to me. Also, I'm a big fan of attractive belts and belt buckles. But it really depend on the style of the shirt. Some casual shirts are meant to be worn out, and that's OK. But the pictures of the guys in business suits with their shirt tails hanging out are absolutely atrocious. There's no excuse for that sloppiness.

Around the house, going shopping, or going to events such as a barbecue, I say out is OK. At work or at events where some may be wearing a tie, I say in. (I usually never wear a tie.)

Had to vote "Other" on this one.
Tucking or not tucking in the workplace would depend a great deal on what it is you do. I think most professions and/or employers have certain standards they expect to be met and that would be the wise thing to do.
What you do at home is your own business. Me, I go for what is most comfortable and it seems to work.
