I made banana bread yesterday. I've become addicted to banana bread lathered with PB and strawberry jam. So, this morning, banana bread french toast with 2 fried eggs, over easy, sandwiched between the two.

That sounds delicious Vannie, mine is a rather simple lamb hot-pot and some chilled pear juice.

Sounds great! What time should we be there?

I never know what we are having for dinner until I get home for dinner.

sounds yummy--love a coconut cupcake---especially homemade----can't believe you turned on your oven in the summer :p

That coconut cupcake and Turkey Ssausage sound delicious. I'm a sucker for cupcakes and sausages.

I think I'll make a baked pasta dish tonight.

Maybe later with some good coffee.

Love it ibil.... We had some friends pop over a few nights ago.I took out a frozen banana bread(from Christmas 2013)and cut it in big chunks.Melted a big bowl of chocolate and handed out forks. So good

What! No stuffed cabbage?

No cabbage? Weak.

A man can not live on stuffed cabbage alone! :)

Don't you have pan of Lutefisk you can defrost? :nono:

I'm lucky enough to have access to a gourmet commercial kitchen, that has both central air conditioning, and a powerful exhaust fan.I also cheated a bit with using a box of Pillsbury Moist Supreme white cake mix as part of the cupcake recipe. :-$ The cream cheese coconut frosting is so good :dead:

The dark meat is always juicier

We didn't have anything home to eat and we didn't feel like going out, so we just ordered Pizza. Can never go wrong with that.

Just pizza as well, which I like but well.... I'd much rather have a Vannie's ristorante near my locale...

Jersey Fresh and delicious but just DON'T order the cabbage or broocoli unless you want to start a gas, well, you know what!

I think after a trip to the store it's gonna be:

Breaded and oven fried chicken tenderloins
Fresh broccoli, blanched with garlic butter
Loaded baked potatoes
Glass of iced milk

It was some charcuterie followed by a simple croque monsieur with egg and tomato, some cheese and a plum for dessert. Simple but yummy, as always when I am at my parents' place :)
