Today's dumpster dive score!

Drove by a construction site. Looks like they're done building the storage building. Got several big dump containers. I dug thru all this crap...



And managed to recover about 30 perfectly good cinder blocks.



I think they dumped a whole pallet worth of new cinder blocks in there. Extras.

Take a couple of those concrete blocks, plonk a tatty old suitcase on top, and you'll have a trendy coffee table.

One of the properties I recently bought from a tax sale has a foundation problems. One side has sunk by a lot making the whole thing leaning. This incoming spring, I plan on jacking up the whole house and rebuild the foundation on that side. So, right now I am gathering cinder blocks for this purpose. I got about 100 piled up so far.

So, today I have been consolidating cinder blocks I have been dumpster diving to get into on neat pile. I am kinda reminded by this.

Anyway, here is my retirement cinder blocks so far. About 150. I got about 70-75 stacked up at another place. I will bring them and put them in this pile.



You guys got a hard-on yet by my dumpster cinder blocks?

Or partner these with wood boards to form audio equipment/TV racks or bookcases. Truly a classic in the American College Dorm furniture style.

It appears you do. You should show us. Seriously, I admire your energy and dedication and ability to do all the things you do. It's really amazing. Way beyond any of my capabilities.
