Hi all,

Is anyone here familiar with the TomatoCart shopping script? I use it on my business website, and have run into a problem with it.

Everything is working ok... apart from when I add a new product to my store. I can't get the images to display on the screen!

Anyone able to help with this? I'd be not only grateful.. but also your friend for life!! LOL

(how's that for an offer? ;) ) hahaha

don't know the software - but even if i knew i probably couldn't help you with a vague description like that. if you can provide a detailed explanation, better an URL where one can see the problem - most likely someone can help you.

Hi Corny,

Sorry about the vague description... was in a rush when I posted that topic. Had to go out on a delivery. I've not been able to reply to this until now.

To give you a rough idea, it's when I add new products to the system. It normally involves typing in a description, setting a price and then uploading a small sized photo to the system so that customers know what the product looks like.

If I may, I'll post my website address here. Please forgive me if I break rules/conditions... I will gladly remove my link if needed:

this is just to give you a rough idea of how the images are not displaying. I've tried everything I can think of, and to be honest... am running outta ideas! lol

Are they in a correct web image format (JPG, PNG, GIF?), do the filenames have no special characters and spaces?

so far it only seems to me that no image was uploaded. i cannot check much more from here .. if nobody can help you i will look into it on monday or so ;)

ohh my... I'm late replying again! Sorry guys!!!

Paws: The images are in .jpg format, and I had to shrink them to fit. It's all a little confusing to me! lol

Corny: Thanks for your help there... very much appreciated. You are a star! (*8*)

Hi T-Rexx.. thanks for your input on this. The link you included was very useful.

I've decided on a new tactic now though, and am going to install a diffrent shopping cart system. There are a few on my server that can be auto-installed, so might just check a couple out.

In the meantime thanks for the help, guys... much appreciated (*8*)

Keep away from osCommerce. I have to work with and it's annoying.
