Tonight I'm going to my first gay club.

you going with a friend(s) or solo?

myself, i love to just watch people go to and fro.

Yeah, I'm going with one or two other people. I dunno, I'm a little nervous.

advice......ummm try to have a good time. Don't go thinking that your going to pick up a hot guy...just relax and have a good time!
 
There's a point in time at a gay club where everyone feels awkward about dancing because they think everyone will see them. But the truth is that everyone is so wrapped up in dancing witht heir own friends and havign a good time that they don't care how you dance unless you're flailing around and whacking people. So just go out there, let the music take you over, and dance as much as youw ant to as hard as you want to.
 
You don't have any gurl friends or anything? Girls love to go clubbing at gay clubs because they usually don't have to worry about being felt up.

Or you could just go and have fun dancing. Mingle, etc. :)

There's nothing wrong with going to a bar or club by yourself. I've definitely done it before when I was in an unfamiliar town and looking for something to do. Enjoy it for the people watching. If anybody comes up to talk to you or you dance, that's just a bonus.
 
It was a lot of fun! The strangest thing happened though.

I ran into this one guy who was my neighbor when I was growing up but then moved away a really long time ago. Small world!

But yeah, the club really wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be. It was a little awkward, but I have a feeling that's only because it's so novel to me. I think if I keep going back, it'll get a lot easier.
