Therein lies the rub. I used to have a friend who has drunk the "Kool-Aid". Born-again Christian, Glenn Beck listener. Really worried about everybody's else's "morals." Scared to death of homosexuality. His wife listens to (tapes?) Rush Limbaugh every day. The last time I visited them, the Family Research Council home page was on his home computer.

I mention this because they have a son in his late-twenties who still lives at home. Deductive reasoning tells me he is gay. The sad part is that my ex-friend believes that the FRC is going to "cure" his son, and not willing to come to terms with the fact that his son isn't ill. I suspect there are lots of people who share similar beliefs. They would vote for a blowup doll if it has an "R" next to it.
