Too Old for Pokemon?

A Bug or Fighting type Eevee would be weird. I can't imagine it with human-like arms.

Breloom doesn't have human like arms either.

Yeah, i'd like to see Dragon most of all I think. I don't think it would be that hard to design.

I haven't gotten it yet. Unless someone really nice buys some things I want for me, Battle Revolution is a little lower on the list. I will get it sooner or later, but for now I'll occupy myself with Diamond and other things.

Somehow i'm not surprised they slacked on some of them. I think I expected it in a way...

They just wanted to get it out as soon as they could instead of taking the time needed to NOT cut corners.

Yeah. Someone actually got it for me as a late birthday thing. When I saw Nidoqueen, it looked the same as before, which was disappointing.

Now I'm messing with my team. I've gotten them up to level 100, but when I check their stats with what Serebii has, they are all over the place. I figure it's some specific thing in the game thats individual to each Pokemon or something. Anyway, my team is currently:

Charizard
Nidoqueen
Kingdra
Spiritomb
Leafeon
Gallade

See, I've got those I don't want to switch whatsoever. I've actually grown attached to Spiritomb. His stats aren't the best, but he grew on me. Then there is Gallade, who i've been waiting for. Nidoqueen and Kingdra i've ALWAYS liked. So Charizard and Leafeon are the only ones i'm not completely attached to. That really doesn't leave me much room tho.

This sucks...I have to breed an all new team. I spent too long getting them up to level 100 and they transferred as "bad eggs" and I don't know why -_-

You know, I kinda miss my surfing Raichu, but with my only flexibility being in Leafeon and Charizard, I don't have much of a choice...

I have a couple shiny, but none caught in Diamond. I have a shiny Bellossom, which looks nice.

I currently don't have a game of my own, but my best friend lets me play her Leafgreen game and level up her pokemon if I find time.

Her team is

Lv. 34 Togetic (Togepi)*
Lv. 62 Pidgeot (Maddie)
Lv. 28 Jumpluff (Phil)
Lv. 63 Raichu (Pikachu)
Lv. 64 Persian (Meowth)
Lv. 62 Blastoise

* nickname in parantheses

No shiny as of yet, supermanfan

Ah well, you know, if it weren't for that I probably wouldn't have decided to switch Leafeon with Cradily. I actually kinda like him. *sigh* Now i've got to redo the training all over. All the way back to level 100...

i actually have a couple but only two caught in leaf green i traded them to emerald so i clone them maybe i can clone more of em and give you guys a shiny! the shinies i can clone are machop and caterpie.

For those of you with Battle Revolution, perhaps you know of the 100-knockout battle where you only recover if you are lucky?

Yeah, I just spend several hours getting to Battle 46, lost, and got NOTHING. If you are taking that on, I hope you have INVINCIBLE pokemon or INSANE luck, because you only recover if you are lucky enough to get a recover space on the wheel. All I kept getting was PP or status recover for around 6 battles until finally my Pokemon couldn't take it anymore. *sigh* I would have settled for AT LEAST some freaking "coupons".

In PBR you've got to retire to get any credit. Retiring after the 50th battle earns you a new Battle Pass and PokeCoupons. Retire after any battle and you'll get some PokeCoupons. If you beat all the way to level 100 you get the "Diamond Dust" Battle Pass and an assload of the BattleCoupons.

I've tried using Legendary Teams(MewTwo, Rayquaza, Groudon, Palkia, Giratina and Kyogre) and got my ass kicked about Level 87. With a regluar team(Flygon, Charizard, Swampert, Metagross, Wobbuffet and Lanturn) I could only get to 71.

I imagine you have to have your pokemon EV trained to beat the last 20 or so rounds.

I love Sandshrew as well. I'm also fond of Cubone.

Problem was I didn't get that far. Whoever I was up against sent out the PERFECT counter to what I picked using best judgement. I don't remember what was used against me. All I know is I had to chose what I thought would work best. However, apparantly the computer didn't decide until after I did, for such a perfect counter.

I'm still switching my party around all over the place. I just can't seem to stop thinking of ways it may work better. But always, with a lack of type combinations on electric, I'm constantly getting stuck, having Zapdos as really the only one I can fit in that doesn't get trampled. I tried Lanturn, but it had trouble being a water type weak to ground attacks. Besides, I kinda missed my Lapras.

And now, i've even considered adding a Kangaskhan to my team and seeing how I can build around her. You know, that name seems odd for an only female pokemon that is a mother pokemon. Hmm...

You know she can hit ghosts with normal and fighting type moves. I see it as a very possible Spiritomb or Sableye killer.

So yea, now I'm trying to work with Lapras, who so far kills in PBR. Latios is kind of fun, but I kind of like doing teams with no Legendaries. I love Dragons, and am considering sticking with good old Dragonite, even though I keep hearing Salamence is better, as are Flygon and Garchomp. Garchomp, however, doesn't have the ability to learn Fly, which is basically a requirement considering they never thought to come up with another way for quick travel between towns.

This whole 6 pokemon limit with just 4 moves is a royal pain. Even 5 moves and I could work out a lot better. Or heck, give each Pokemon a 5th slot that can only be used by HMs, so we don't have to waste space. That would make team building easier.

I also like shiny Metagross, but working it in the team is also difficult. I used Gallade for a while, but in PBR it wasn't as fast as it needed to be and tended to get hurt, bad. Then I had Latios. I did the Neon battle again using Latios, and Lapras shredded it with one Ice Beam. Total annihilation. Latios can do the same to others, but only if it gets the chance. Still, he does kick ass. But, again, legendary.

Now I guess i'm just rambling on...so I guess i'll go mess with the game some more.

Used to love Pokemon to death myself when I was younger but then sorta forgot about it for a couple of years until Diamond and Pearl came out. A friend kept going on about it so he forced me to buy it, don't get me wrong though, I'm addicted lol Just beaten the second gym leader which was fun so I'm off to the next town. But the starters are really crap aren't they? I remember how awesome Bulbasaur and Charmander were and totally kicked ass. This game really brings back memories of the old days...

Oh and I don't think anyone can be too old for pokemon. Besides if it was just for kiddies, they would get slaughtered by the more advanced players online. It's aimed at kids, but what isn't these days?

Anyway here's my friend code if anyone is interested! =)

Yeah. I'm not a fan of any of the starters this turn around when compared to others. I love penguins...but not that one...nope, looks awkward the more I look.

My team is STILL being shifted lol. I can never seem to set in on a permanent choice. Mostly because I don't want to use legendaries, but I always find myself cornered into using one to cover a major type.

And darn it, they need to add a 5th attack slot that can only be occupied by an HM. The four-move thing is a serious pain in the ass.

I've been playing Battle Revolution a lot now that I've made two decent teams. Its annoying how common I endup battling kids with nothing but Giratinas, Dialgas, and Palkias. Darkai isn't that bad because he is so predictable.

Oh, and Blissey....I've only fought one and man, that fat bitch is hard to take down!

Blissey you have to hit really hard. The thing is, a lot of people don't build their team out of what they like, just what will win.

And people that cheat to give Spiritomb Wonder Guard really piss...me...off...

I just like to keep it out of legendaries because that basically turns it into a "who has the better moves on the uber powerful legendary pokemon"

Now, a good, well placed super effective move still takes down these pains in the ass, but they are usually prepared with some backup counter. *sigh* It's why I hate competitive play. I can't just use the ones I like. I have to use what wins. Period.

And besides, Blissey's attacks aren't all that great. She usually comes in with status attacks and healing attacks. I usually take her out with close combat on PBR.
