Too Old for Pokemon?

I've got to start searching myself. That's going to be SOOO much fun. I have always had an extreme dislike of trade evolutions. Gengar, Alakazam, Golem, Machamp, Kingdra, and now all these new ones they introduced. It gets so annoying.

Yeah, I read about Rhydon online. I think i've got a Protector, but i'd have to check.

Yeah, i'd evolve them expecting some good movies and find NOTHING. I never understood that!

Yeah, when I first saw Vulpix I was surprised by how odd it looked. I still love growlithe tho. I'd love Arcanine more if it learned new moves. So for now it's all for the Dex data.

I've seen 289, but that's because I haven't been all over that island in the northeast. I'm not sure how many I own.

5 moves would change so much. I've always felt like I needed just ONE more move. When I first saw Shellos I thought it was somehow evolution related to Lapras, only to find Lapras completely absent from the game AGAIN.

One thing I would really like to see is some way to travel all the regions, incorporating all the legendaries and such into one. I mean, the only time we saw Johto was in GSC, and we have had quite a few games since then, including revisiting Kanto. I know it's a LOT to ask, but I miss wandering around those regions. It would certainly be a lot better than having to use the poke radar. That's annoying...

I've always thought Kangaskhan should have a pre-evolution. Like the baby in the pouch, just a little bigger. That distinction between male and female would make a lot of sense. They would just have to decide which is which.

I thought that about Milotic and Lapras because I at first didn't believe the Feebas - Lapras thing until I managed to catch one of those stupid things and evolve it.

The problem is they don't realize we want all new, but want it to combine with old as well. Wouldn't it be interesting if we took out each Enemy Faction in there own region, then they come together over some big new legendary involving all the regions...that sure would make for an interesting battle against all of them.

I think a pre-evolution of Lapras could be interesting, with Lapras as strong as it can get. I thought the pre-evolution of Chansey was a long time coming. This may be a bit out there, but I can also imagine a Lugia pre-evolution...

Yeah...that Vulpix pose just...ugh.

I'm finally getting the game tomorrow, I haven't had the extra money because I have to buy the DS too, none of the other DS releases appealed to me before the Pokemon games came out.

As for the original Q, I'm not too old for Pokemon, only 19.

I love pokemon. Currently on my Diamond Version I have:

Dialga Lv.50
Staraptor Lv. 48
Tortera Lv. 49
Gastradon Lv. 48
Rapidash Lv. 48
Steelix Lv.48

I've caught one of the legendaries, there pretty cool.

I'm surprised that Pokemon hasn't been made into a live-action movie yet. I wonder how that could be made, what it would turn out like. Hmm.. interesting.

So, I JUST figured out the friend code thing (I think)

Player : Elvn

Code : 0774 0913 8568

Let me know if any one want's to play or trade or anything
(god, I'm a dork)

And I just finished adding everyone who put their friend codes on here, sa yay us

So i'm getting ready to challenge the Veilstone gym leader and I'm confident I'm gonna get my ass handed to me. There always one gym that I have trouble with.

Random thought, but I wish they would evolve that damn Pikachu already...especially for something thats so dependent on raising them to higher levels & "catching them all"...evolve to a Raichu & make it the 1st shiny Pokemon on the show or something so it will still "stand out"

Sorry but had to vent; but Pokemon is like Power Rangers, LoL (same recycled format; different characters)

Veilstone isn't too hard. Unless you haven't trained a flying or psychic type. Fire also helps as I think she has a Lucario...of course, the only wild fire type is Ponyta. I don't understand why they only put 2 fire types in the main playthrough: Chimchar and Ponyta. For fire to be such an important type, it is sadly absent from the game.

That's why I stopped watching the show. It's basically the same thing just with someone new joining Ash and Brock. And of course Pikachu is STILL Pikachu. It wouldn't be the first shiny on the show, however. Ash caught a shiny Noctowl way back in Johto. But, as he always does, he ditched it when he went to a new region.

Yeah I actually beat it in one go, my Ponyta did really help. I even managed to get the badge from Pastoria too.

One thing that gets me most is he wants to "catch them all" but he never even bothers to catch a Spearow way back at the beginning, and even complained when seeing them and only them. His team makeup is actually fairly predictable every time. That's why I stopped watching it.

Pikachu learns moves and beats almost everything it comes up against, Team Rocket intervenes before it can to steal it, Pikachu or another pokemon sends them "Blasting off again" or whatever they've been saying all these years, and they resume the battle which usually ends with Ash winning.

It's all so annoyingly predictable, which is why I liked stomping his team into the ground in whichever game he was hiding in.

The equality training is quite worth it. This elite four can be a challenge, all dependant on how your team is built and raised.

Well yesterday I finally beat the elite four an champion, am now enjoying searching all the new areas of the game. Not much else to report.

There's so many to trade, i'm still tracking down evolution items. Some aren't as easy to come by. I'm not necessarily a fan of some of the new ones, but I still need the Dex data.

Where should I start?

Mamoswine
Probopass
Porygon-Z
Togekiss (it kinda shocked me)
Tangrowth
Magmortar, Electvire (I was just surprised they were given third evolutions.)
Magnezone (I'm not sure Magneton should have evolved again)
Lickilicky

Mostly the new evolutions of old ones. Not all shocks were bad ones, just surprising and unexpected.

Gallade was a VERY pleasant surprise for me. I saw it and just knew I was going to have one for my team. Frosslass was a bit odd at first. I had no idea where it came from until I looked it up.

I'm almost ready to do trade evolutions. I'm trying to get all the items I can before starting.
