Has anyone tried this lube? I heard about this on a podcast. It suppose to help the anal progress be easier with a numb feeling.

Hmmm. Is this stuff actually a good idea?

Sounds kinda dangerous.

If anything's going on in your arse that requires it be numb then maybe it's best you didn't partake in that activity.

Why would you want numbness?

Especially since it would make my cock numb as well. (Ya, no condoms. Monogamous LTR)

Tried jalapeño infused lube once...""Hot lube". It was an inadvertent late night/sex crazed/hurried purchase. That stuff is just wicked. I swear my joint was smoking! $12 tossed in the bin and a knob that, for a few hours, felt like it had been gone over with a belt sander.

Did anyone see that Curb Your Enthusiasm episode (Season One, I think) where Larry and Cheryl were invited to a former porn actor's house for a dinner party? The former porn actor said that he used to put Tabasco up his azz to keep him hard longer - life for hours. Always wondered if there was any truth to that or if it was just completely made up. Probably the latter, but...

Quote from "Porno Gil" - "You know what Tabasco's good for? Keep ya hard, only you gotta stick it up your ass."

Pardon my virgin viewpoint, but isn't the pain part of the whole process? I mean...it's part of the whole experience, right? No pain no gain, kind of thing....

Okay, I'll go back to the little kid's (virgin's) table, now...

Even more topical is the Curb episode where Larry uses a wang numbing condom so he can last longer but puts it on inside-out and Cheryl gets a numb vagina. Love that show!

I don't know if it's true when someone says "if it hurts you're not doing it correctly." It ALWAYS hurts me. I can't stand it, thus I would be a prime target for some ass numbing lube. I've had a friend try it and he said it worked like a charm. I've only been able to take it from one guy up the arse and it felt good. I don't know what happened (I think I was really drunk) and I psychologically gave in, but I was loving it! haha! Every other time has hurt like holy hell... hence why I don't bottom.

Bottoming is quite a complex business, both physically and psychologically. Often pain can be caused by - possibly unintentional - clenching and tightening of the muscles. Learning to relax the sphincters, and to trust your partner, is all part of the learning process. If you are very tight, and your partner is large and inexperienced, it is quite possible to cause damage. You don't want this damage to go unnoticed, which is a reason I don't recommend numbing gel.

What you DO want is lots and lots of lube, gentle stretching (starting with one finger and working up), and an understanding partner.

Of course, plenty of guys simply don't like it anyway.

I know the pain had a partner that was large and I was new and had a hard time to sit for a while.
