Sigh. Love so often doesn't do well in her songs.

I can't honestly say what my top five songs are--I like so many and find it hard to choose. But one that would definitely be in there is actually a Tom Waits song called Time, which, though it may not appear on any of her albums (I'm not sure), is one of my favorite performances of any I've ever seen of hers. Performed as the musical act on David Letterman's first show back on the air after 9/11/2001.

^Strange Little Girls^ was an interesting concept, she made those covers her own songs for better or worse. A brave act. Hearing this song transports me to that time. I was 21 heading to Washington DC, it was a ghost town after the 9/11 attacks, but I had to brave it.

My songs would have to be

Flying Dutchman
A Sorta Fairytale
Little Earthquakes
Beauty Queen/Horses
Hey Jupiter
6-10 ^-^ for me would have to be
Big Wheel
Yes, Anastacia
Twinkle
Pandora's Aquarium
Taxi Ride

oh could i forget Beauty Queen/Horses, that songs weighs so much and gives me so much strength.
