Top cd's of 2008

2008's far from closed, so I'll forgo posting any studio releases. But it's going to virtually impossible to beat Steinski's What Does It All Mean? 1983-2006 Retrospective as best compilation of the year.

3. Motorpsycho - Little Lucid Moments
4. Ane Brun - Changing of the Seasons
5. Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue (actually a re-release, but I sort of consider it a '08 release, since it's been unavailable since '90 or something)

Albums that I haven't fully gotten into, but I'm positive I'll like:

Tv on the Radio - Dear Science
Mogwai - The Hawk is Howling
Calexico - Carried to Dust
Wovenhand - Ten Stones

Some that I haven't really made up my mind on yet, but I think I like:
