Three reasons for me to definitely not go!

It sounds more scandalous than it really is. I went to the pool party 2 years ago and didn't get nude, I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable about it either.

Trust me, you are not forced to do anything at the meet-up you don't want to do; it's a bunch of guys getting together to have a good time and a few laughs. The meet-up isn't designed with any ulterior motives; you have nothing to worry about.

Count me in as well... I may have a friend up that week visiting from the states so I may have an American Guest that weekend...

The Best Western is a great hotel. If you like, there apparently is a bathhouse next door (I have NOT checked it out--contrary to beliefs!), a great coffee shop and bakery for mornings or a restaurant if you are really hungry. I found out about the bathhouse when my friend Kevin, who lives in Toronto, was giving me a tour of the district and broke into laughter when he noticed the proximity of the hotel to said establishment.

Of course I then asked how HE knew about it!

Gay bars start just about across the street and then turn the corner on Church. Hair of the Dog (a restaurant) is great and nearby--the waiters are friendly, good looking, and great dates!

It isn't that far to Woody's or Fly.

The room I used which is referenced by Sheep only had to be steam cleaned -- the sling and other devices were already there! LOL!

Wherever good times are happening, Jay will have made them happen as he is co-producing the event this year. I just do the paperwork. So this year's meet should be absolutely faabuloussss. I hope to nail down the restaurant/bar next week.
Tom, are you offering your room as pre-drink headquarters again this year? Or should I PM you with that request?

Having Jay as a co-organizer will insure that. I know he is sooo athletic and big and strong and such a good dancer and sooo good looking bla bla bla. Why do you think he shared a room with moi in St Louis? <insert dirty old man laugh here.
Seriously, when Jay made the offer to help I was so grateful. He is a busy guy but I guess you have all heard the old line *want something done? ask a busy person*. The other thing some of you may not realize is Jay is actually a bit younger than I am and as such can identify with the younger members better. Possibly. Perhaps. He is also the nicest guy you would ever want to meet.

Sure wish you could make it GL. At any event we did finally meet in St. Louis.

Please look it over to make sure you are on the list and for the correct days and advise if incorrect. At this time I will need your T-shirt sizes if you haven't PMed them to me already. Plans are almost carved in stone for the location for Saturday and with name tags on our JUB shirts we will be able to run separate tabs avoiding the screw-ups of past years.
The list is big considering we still have more than 6 weeks to go until the meet. With Joe King Jay co-organizing the event, it should be way better than any of the previous 3 annual Toronto meets so talk it up to your JUB friends especially the Toronto area ones. Jay will have more information as we get closer to the event.

It seems the pricing from the hotel is better than some of the so called discount web sites. YMMV

Their site is showing a minimum reservation of 2 nights. You could call to confirm this.
