My favourite is that the brothers' plan to rake in future millions personally by attempting to seize the waterfront lands and sell them to offshore developers for some bizarre and hokey super-mall scheme and monorail was pronounced DOA, even by some of their wackiest right wing supporters.

You know what it's those damn people in the burbs who are scared to take public transit or ride their bikes on the street who voted for Ford. Cut the gravy train and cancel transit city. The family members are not elected. I don't know anything about the politics of Toronto.. but I do remember Billy Carter (brother of President Jimmy Carter) making all sorts of stupid comments... Our current first lady Mrs. Obama makes some outrageouse statements about diets among Americans...
Let the family members of elected policitans go about their stuipd business.. let them spout off... so what?
Don't blame the elected officials for what their family members say..
Damn, it's hard enough to pay attention to the elected officals without spending time reading or listenting to what their spouses or siblings spout of about.

^ He's not much of a Canadian let alone a political figure if he didn't know who Marg Delahunty is. And even if he didn't know Marg, you would think he would be able to recognise the giant CBC logo on the cameras.

I'm surprised Torontonians haven't clamped him in public stocks in Nathan Phillips Square and thrown rotten tomatoes at him.
