i heard the real world ratings have not been stellar lately, but i heard the challenge is like the highest rated show they have on mtv.

Not really. Fresh Meat they brought a new crop in without Real World. There hasn't been a Road Rules in years before viewers choice and they just revived that franchise.

Doesn't matter... at least one of the shows needs to keep producing new seasons for the Challenges to be continuing regularly for more than once every 5 years or so. It's certainly no longer going to be doing once a year if Real World gets the axe.

They use the same core cast for challenge after challenge this one alone they have 32 people and I can still think of people who are missing. They have a large enough pool to draw on if they just want to keep doing Road Rules.

It's not about whether or not they have the people or not. That was never in dispute. It's whether or not there's MTV wants to continue without a base program that serves as a tradition for the Challenges.

I'm not afraid of a bet I just think it's kind of stupid to make a 10 dollar bet with someone who lives I don't even know where when the outcome won't be able to be determined for years and is contingent on an additional event that may or may not occur. Obviously regardless of whose right no one will be collecting on the bet so why be so juvenile as to make it?
