Um... if Real World goes, the challenges will probably go with it. One probably doesn't need a 'source' to deduce that much...

Doesn't matter... at least one of the shows needs to keep producing new seasons for the Challenges to be continuing regularly for more than once every 5 years or so. It's certainly no longer going to be doing once a year if Real World gets the axe.

It's not about whether or not they have the people or not. That was never in dispute. It's whether or not there's MTV wants to continue without a base program that serves as a tradition for the Challenges.
