I thought it was awesome, I want to see it again. I must say, I'm really glad this was the movie I was really looking forward to.
 
TRANSFORMERS is the best Sci-Fi Action movie in years! I'm a 1st generation fan and this is an excellent re-boot for the 2K decade. Humor (both for kids and adults), violence, and a solid Sci-Fi story. Michael Bay finally got it right. There's a few little hiccups, but it doesn't detract from the overall movie. The CGI is over the top!! Bumble Bee is my HERO!!!
 
I just saw it and it was absolutely amazing. Once it ended, everyone in the theater erupted in pause. I rarely go back to see movies, but I am definately going to watch it again.

haha, the scene in the bedroom with Shia and his parents was hilarious.

Shia has gotten so hot.

I saw it today, FUCKING AWESOME!!!! I was so happy with it, cuz I was terrified they were going to ruin it. But I dont have a single complaint.
And how incredibly hot was Shia???? Lord have mercy, him in his boxers laying on the bed....his legs looked too sexy. He's quite a good actor too.

Anyhow, great movie, GO SEE IT!!!!
 
Just finished watching it & I'm still pretty psyched about it seeing it again...

Definitely one of the best "Summer Blockbusters" in years. I'm not really a fan of the series, so I don't know individual transformers, so that made it kinda hard for me to tell who was blasting who; but great movie nonetheless...

Great balance of humor & fast paced explosive action sequences & a clear easy to follow plot + Shia & Josh Duhamel & straight crush on Megan Fox

Personally, even if you are a die hard fan of the series (I'm not, so I don't know how much they differed from the cartoon? I guess), there's little to be disappointed in & This def. made up for SpiderMan 3/FF4/Pirates/Shrek sequels..

I agree. It got cheesey at times and they could have cut out at least 40 minutes. I was a fan as a kid. Not a huge fan but I watched it after school and had a few of the toys. I could have done without the flirting bit with the girl. I'm sick of every movie having some hot girl that the geek gets cause he saves the world. Nothing really original at all in this movie. Wait for the dvd.

The robots are cool, but the screenplay, story, and much of the acting just plain sucks. Part of the problem I guess is that this is really a cartoon and it does not translate well to a more adult audience.
 
I saw it yesterday and I loved it!! I didn't think I was going to like it because I'm not into science fiction nor do I like moves where it's just a bunch of all action with objects getting destroyed. I went because one of my girlfriends really wanted to go.

I loved it. It was a bit melodramatic at moments, but it was a fun fun movie with great transformers and a camero that I nearly cried for when I thought he might die! I liked the fact that it didn't take itself too seriously and there was some good moments of just funny humour stuff thrown in that really broke up the move. Sam's parents were a total riot! The scene in his bedroom where they find the girl in his bedroom cracked me up!

and glad to see that Starscream made it...............

although they could've done more character development with him, at least a scene or two showing his intentions to take over as leader of the Decepticons and overthrow Megatron
maybe even show him shoot one missile at Megatron to distract him while he fights Optimus and Shia..................
 
I agree and it had more humor than I expected it to have. I was surprised to learn that Micheal Bay wasnt a fan but liked the idea of it.
 
I saw it for the 2nd time yesterday and I loved it again. It probably is the best action film of the summer.
 
Just got done watching this tonight in my local theatre.

OH MY GOD! I had a nerdgasm pretty much through most of the film. I almost lost total body control when Prime says to Megatron.... "On this day Megatron, One shall stand and one fall."

AWESOME movie......It might actually make me get a HD player because this movie is sooooo worth upgrading for!!
 
I saw the movie tonight, it was very interesting, special effects were awesome!
 
I'm not a huge fan of "blockbusters" and I only know the Transformers from the tv commercials ("more than meets the eye") I saw when they were first introduced, but I must admit, the trailers make it seem really interesting.
