hey i just got back from seeing transformers, i walked in there not expecting much, as all these comic book remakes are pretty lame. but OMG this movie was amazing, i highly rate this film. GO SEE IT!!!

yeah, i checked times this evening and found they had opened Transformers today at 8 pm
 
I actually never realized that there was a story to Transformers? I had them when I was younger and never recalled a comic book or show.

hmmm..

I'm going to see it.. I'm not really into stuff like this but.. who knows i may like it.
 
I have zero interest in the transformers as toys or whatever, but I saw the preview tonight and it was a great action film! A LOT of humor, and yeah, Shia is the hottest he's ever been but we mustn't forget Josh Duhamel. Personally, I now have a thing for Optimus Prime. I'd be happy to lube him.;)
 
I saw it on Friday which now seems strange that it came out here before it did over there. It was reasonably enjoyable.
 
there is a plot so yay for that. but it was a disorganized mess. action and effects were top notch. im not a tranform fan from before so i had trouble keeping track of who was who and what was good and evil but i enjoyed. everything except for the little gremlin robot. i hated his part and was bothered every time he was onscreen which was A LOT. What the fuck is john turturro doing in this? is he strapped for cash. his role sucked and i hated him. talk about miscasting

on the whole a b+

The original Transformers, under a different name, began in several Asian countries in the mid-1970s. These were simply toys, no tv/comic series. As they grew in popularity, several American toy companies took interest and a manufactoring rights war ensued for several years before the rights were granted.

The English version of the Transformers hit English speaking countries in the early 80s (84 I think) with the nearly simultaneous release of the toys, the cartoon, and the Marvel comic book. The comic would eventually be cancelled after 80 plus issues, only to return as a mini-series. Then a new publisher bought the rights to the title and published several issues before declaring bankruptcy. The title would suffer through another bad publishing company before landing at its current home, where the publisher currently has something like 3 or 4 monthly titles.

Saw Transformers today. Absolutely loved it. Go see it.
 
i have to say that i really wasn't expecting much. i'm a michael bay hater. i really liked the movie. even though it did have the cheesy michael bay moments here and there. they weren't that bad.

That wasnt a Voltron preview, its a movie called cloverfield. And nothing shows signs of it being Voltron movie either.
