What? Me? Really?
Apologies for getting "Gameboy" in the title instead of GameStop. I'm totally not into gaming.
The incident was by an out-of-control customer who ranted and spewed and kicked over a display, supposedly over her pique about mistakenly being called "sir" by both the store clerk and another customer.

As the right constantly complains, mainstream media did not even pick up the story, so it remains unpublished this side of the Atlantic, whereas, if this story had been about race instead of gender, it would be on every national news show already (it happened five days ago.)
From all appearances, the clerk and the customer slipped when using "sir" and did not apparently do it with malice or intent. In fairness, the transgendered customer presented so macho it is easy to understand how they slipped.
Unfortunately, but predictably, this video went viral. Reactions range from right-leaning websites posting it as typical of political correctness to gamers not caring about gender politics but disgusted with the inexcusable rage.
I had to look through a few pages of YouTube just to get a posting that wasn't on a political slant. Sat through a pretty funny gamer's version where he continues to play some WoW or similar while talking about the video. Soooo gamer.
The same unfair broad brush happens all the time. The left cherry picks something from the right and touts it as representative, and the right does the same. Everyone should just admit that it is an individual acting out, or whatever, and not the anointed representative of a subgroup.
I don't agree with the right on disrespecting transgendered people, but I call foul on this story being censored by the media that supposedly covers LGBT issues, as this is allegedly discriminatory behavior by GameStop, yet the trans person comes off as the problem, which is why I think the big outlets are panning. The angle doesn't "sell" well.
