transgendered people

Yes, I'd have to agree with that. Still, it doesn't mean I have to respect those who aim to deceive. And the whole thing just SCREAMS issues ... such that I'd hesitate to get seriously involved with anyone of a trans-nature.

And I'll never see what in the world any of it has to do with being homosexual ... or what the logic is behind linking the trans with the gay.

I also don't agree with your statement that trans people 'aim to deceive'. There is no insidious goal to deceive everyone around them into believing that they're a man or woman. They identify as transgendered mena nd women, which is indication enough.

It's not an act, which would imply deception. Also, I don't think you know enough about transgendered people to say that they "scream 'issues'". If you knew any, you'd know that transgendered people are just as logical, thoughtful, responsible, and well adjusted as anyone else you could meet.
 
I think transgendered people have a right to live their lives the way they want to. I think sometimes the gay and especially the lesbian community can be hard on transgendered people. There is a music festival for lesbians in Michigan called the Michigan Womyn festival and for many years the lesbians will not allow transgendered people into the event.

Just to be clear ... I don't believe that transgenderds aim to deceive by their nature. I just don't respect those that do.

Some don't reveal to potential lovers that they are trans, and I think that's awful nasty of them. I have a trans friend who is not "out" to her/his in-laws ... and I find that a deception not in keeping with personal integrity.


Others mileage may vary.
