Not related to going to the UK -- kinda the other direction...

One of my colleagues is in Sydney right now. He's going to Manley Beach ;) today. He signed his email "g'day Mate"!

He'll be there for two weeks all in all. I'm envious.

Our $ has hovered around the 50p mark for many years. Just in the last couple of weeks it has climbed to 60p, so it's definitely looking better for us Aussies! ..|

If Paul Hogan can handle crocodiles in the outback and street punks in New York City, surely he would prove invaluable in case of snakes on a plane.
 
I've got a handful of friends from Brighton and Manchester and if they're any indication of what the boys are like from those parts of the world it should be a good time ;)
