I've narrowed it to three different options:

1. 13 day tour of Italy
2. 10 day tour of Eypgt
3. 4 days in San Fran or 6 days in Hawaii

Egypt ... how many [STRIKE]hot[/STRIKE] men are u going to sponsor ? ;)

Well old chum

Get your google on and type in amtrak seattle to la.

it will come up with an overwhelmiing list of options to peruse regarding train travel and sight seeing from as far north as Victoria or Vancouver to San
Diego and maybe even a hop across the Mexican border.

I won't bore you with anything here because you know your time and budget constraints. This is just an idea for you to mull over. You could even throw Hawaii into that mix en route.

The trek would definitely give you a wide scope view of the territory but you look and consider the things you want...it is your holiday after all is said and done. I'm still working towards my goal of an extended visit to Australia/New Zealand in the future before I can no longer dodder along.

Hope this helps or at least entertains....;)

Nov/Dec is not the time of year for a 13 day tour of Italy. You will need your winter woolies! May/June is the time for a great trip.

There are going to be a number of disappointed JUBBERS out
there when they read about your decision not to come visit
them. Many of us were looking forward to seeing you in the
flesh and talking face to face rather than screen to screen.

Personally, I applaud your decision to better your life long
term rather than satiate a pent up desire. The world is in
the midst of a rather serious pisstake (I love that term and
hope I used it correctly) and would not be able to present it-
self to you in all its "glory" at this time. This is a tough
but excellent decision, both eminently logical and a bloody
good show mate,

As compensation perhaps you could do a Thread. Peruse your
Atlas, determine your dream vacation and the specific cities you would have visited. Ask the world-wide JUB community to join your thread by posting thumbnail geographical sketches
with pic(s). This would create a vicarious but meaningful
and permanent memory for you, strengthen the bonds of JUBBER friendship and be a right bit of fun for all as well.

Okay, thats my 2 cents (U.S.) worth and hope it was worth something to you...btw, see my new avatar/signature tomorrow.
It was designed by a brilliant internet master and far better
than I warrant but I couldn't turn the man down.

Okay mate, I've taken up enough of your time for this long winded post........Good on ya.....

Your Californicator mate LEFTY O'Foole...|

Just a damn shame:(

and tooooo BAD GREEK

but JUB is on a seniority basis

You do the math hahahahahahah

Go to California Raven. Just stay away from LA. Or maybe take a peek at it for the experience but then get the hell out of there. I'm from the bay area and if I could, I would be there right now :)

It's tough reality....but you have something to set as a goal and look forward to.

Raven, I was here then. but, the total package I have in my minds eye is

much more detailed and Extensive!oops!
