Hello there,

How did you close out your Gay Pride Weekend? At some social event, I'm sure. Well so did I...at a sex party. And I realized by some behavior around me that another lesson of "Sex Party Etiquette" needed to be passed along. Just in time for whatever weekend frolicking you may be on the verge of doing.

Hello,

Last week at Will Clark's Bad Boy On The Hudson Sea Tea, you may recall me mentioning how one of the prizes in the gift bag was an 8 x 10 photo with an unreleased erotic poem on it. Well my latest blog post reveals that poem, how old the poem actually is, and how it came about.

Hi there,

I know it's been too long since I've introduced the next poem in my CHALLENGER poetry series. This time I'm addressing sexism in the LGBT community.

And before you go to read my latest, I would like to thank those of you who showed your support for the previously posted part of my CHALLENGER series, "Faux Rainbow". Your past and continued show of interest is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Hello there,

"Why do some of us bareback when we know the risk, but don't want the consequences?"

I asked and answered this question back in December 2007 when I was writing for Pitbull Productions' ThugPornBlog. And it seems RELEVANT and NECESSARY to re-post it on "L's X-Ray Vision" almost 4 years later.

http://www.tresx-rayvision.com/2011/07/why-we-bare-risk.html

After you read this post, please take note that my writing post like this for this long is what sparked my blasting of the gay media. Mainly in my poem "Faux Rainbow". Because I'm sure that even if it was written for a porn blog, this piece would have stood a better chance of being embraced by the mainstream gay media had it been written by a young White male on a White porn blog, rather than a Black male on a porn blog believed to cater to people of color. Which is a shame. Because like I said before, this message is RELEVANT and NECESSARY.

Hi there,

While some drink just because it's there, others drink to get drunk.
While some do drugs because it's there, other do drugs to get incoherently high.
And while others have a sexual tryst because of a momentary connection, others have sex to lie to themselves that they're escaping some kind of pain.
Well, there's a price to pay for trying to be an escape artist instead of being adult enough to deal with your problems...

Hi there,

Recently, someone told me of an incident that he felt I should post on my blog. One that he sees as totally racist, but I see it as being only possibly racist. Find out the skeleton details of the incident and what factors of the people involved made me refuse for the sake of keeping my blog's integrity in check.

HAPPY FRIDAY,

The September Issue of Next Door Magazine came out this past Monday, AND I'm featured as their Peeping Tom's focus this month. After my time in adult entertainment as a gay porn actor, get a comparison telling whether this photoshoot for adult entertainment was more or less fun than a video shoot for it, and why.

And make sure you buy a copy of the magazine afterwards. ;)

Hello there,

Have you ever been involved with someone who made you feel as if you were paying for the wrongs of their ex? Well, I recently have, and I saw this point of severing ties coming. So get more details, hear the poem, and see me resurrect my drawing talents in a video inspired by these events that I'm sure you can relate to. In fact, you might find that you're guilty of it yourself. Take heed with care.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

With all the drama that has inspired my recent posts, I think you'll be glad to read this HOT tale that happened to me just one week ago today.

TRUST ME, Even though there are no dirty pics to help tell the story, this post is NSFW. I wouldn't want you guys walking around your jobs with the pup tents in your pants that I'm sure it will inspire. LOL. And for you East Coast readers, it's the perfect story to save, print out and read while Hurricane Irene is going on. So after wards, you can fuck long and hard making your own hurricane indoors so you can forget about the hurricane outdoors.

Hello there,

I am closing my CHALLENGER poetry series by using it to confront ageism in the gay community, mainly in the gay media. And if I do say so myself, I think this poem and accompanying post do quite well at bringing all parts of this poetry series to a close...at least for now.

Hello,

The subject line asks quite a shocking question. Especially for someone like myself, a Black man who has admitted to past racism against other Black males. Well, I've been recently tested on my overcoming that racism. It is a long post, but in the end, you will get an answer to the subject line's question, and why I feel that way.

Hello,

In a recent post on MOC Blog, an exchange ensued between the blog's author, Victor Hoff and myself. It was because of his using the word "iconic" to describe the ethnic gay porn company, FlavaWorks. I believe such a word is not fit to describe FlavaWorks. For an entity viewed as "iconic" is one considered worthy of being idolized and when one considers my past dealings with FlavaWorks, and what has been heard in television news and the blogsphere of FlavaWorks, and as I said in my original comment, the image of Blacks that company puts out there, such as use of the word "nigga", it is a company that falls short of being worth idolizing in my eyes.

Victor Hoff did not take well to this criticism. He even went as far as to try telling me that the way I defined "iconic" is my "own definition". This when ONE of the definitions of "icon" according to Merriam-Webster clearly says, "an object of uncritical devotion : idol". And that is the definition most people use TODAY. The one Victor Hoff suggested in his reply to my original comment is one that is an ANOTHER ACTUAL definition, but it is one that is a bit outdated. Therefore, Victor Hoff has no right to reply in a condescending tone telling me the definition I used was "my own definition" when it can easily be proven otherwise.

Evidently, he was so offended by my 2nd response that he deleted it. While my 1st comment and his reply can be found here:

http://menofcolor.blogs.com/moc_blog/2011/09/2011-blatino-award-winners-announced-one-white-guy-nominated-surprised-by-loss-vows-to-return-next-y.html

My 2nd comment that he deleted was as follows:

Victor,

The reason I seem to keep repeating myself is because YOU are repeating the same mistakes. That mistake being praising a company like FlavaWorks and these other ethnic porn companies. We have discussed this issue before, but posts like this and others make it obvious of how by you not being a Black male trying to present a positive image, you don't understand my annoyance as much as you say you do. If you did, you wouldn't be giving me such a long-winded defense for the likes of ---FlavaWorks?! A company that SHOULD NOT be lauded because while they are contributing an image of Black and Latinos, it is not a positive one. And I would rather my ethnicity not be represented at all if it's going to be represented in a negative light. It's bad enough when a Black person does it, but even worse when in 2011 a White one profits from it, like most of these ethnic gay porn companies like FlavaWorks and Pitbull do.

So if you want to delete my comments, like I said before --- your blog, your prerogative to do so. But you will only be showing how you don't like being called on your making the same mistakes time and time again. Because THAT is why I keep repeating myself. I visit your blog out of courtesy as a friend, because I have moved on from this. The problem that is cause for my concern and my repeat criticism is because you haven't.

The fact is it is instances like this that I hardly ever dedicate writing entire posts about the gay porn industry on my blog anymore. I will write about sexuality, but hardly ever about porn. Because I've learned that porn and sexuality are not as connected as I thought they were when I entered the gay porn industry. Also, I have evolved enough as a person and as a writer to not show loyalty to a form of entertainment that has grown to be hardly entertaining at all for that reason. And lastly, I have also evolved enough to not show loyalty to people who claim to have noticed this fact, but do actions that say otherwise. Thank you.
