If some may recall, I came to terms with my sexual orientation on February 10, 2002. But about 7 years prior, I met someone who seemed to realize my orientation before I did. This person inspired my latest backstory and poem. I wonder if on some level you can relate.

I've never understood it.

But I'm starting to get used to it.

On Monday, I received a party invite for a sex party for fit guys allowing ONLY Black and Latinos. With me being Black, you would think I would go for it. Well, I was considering it. But there was a way the party was marketed that gives ammo to racist Whites in media to push the idea of Blacks being homophobia that caused me enough annoyance to turn the party away. Especially, when I can prove otherwise to be the case by the gay porn industry.

Hello there,

While I work no my report about me moderating a discussion on the present state of racism in the gay community, and gay porn being one of the ways it's seen, the timing of this is impeccable.

Despite our parting of the ways (details explained in a post on my Tumblr blog), I still visit Victor Hoff's Men Of Color Blog once in awhile and comment. Such as with a recent post by contributing author, Angel Cruz about the "increase" in interracial pairings in gay porn. I think I hit the nail on the head with my comment as to why this is the case. What do you think?

Hello there,

I'm sure you recall me promoting my moderating a discussion on racism called "Saying The Dirty Word...LIVE!" Well, for those who were there and those who did not and/or could not attend, I've written a 2-part report about the event. Part 1 will go into deeper detail of what was said, while tomorrow's Part 2 will explore in greater detail the areas of seeing racism that we never really got to discuss.
