Triple G Appreciation thread

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are okay today and will have had a great pew day.

I’m okay in soggy, cold and dark England…

(*8*) Hi Rob. Time for me to hang on in the wind. We have had two days of Santa Ana winds. 50-60 mph here, 130 in Magic Mountain north of Los Angeles.

Good evening, Gary. (*8*) I hope you will survive those terrible gales. Keep safe.

I’m okay and watching Star Trek, The Next Generation this evening.

Happy Thanksgiving, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you have a wonderful day, eating turkey with some good friends, and that you're having decent weather out there. I would think the desert heat should be gone by now.

(*8*) Good afternoon, RM, John, Andrew, Rob,

Everyone was gone away or doing something else for Thanksgiving, so I was alone. Watched TV

and had a frozen turkey dinner.

Anyone caught up in Black Fri-yay craziness?

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Yeah, that Marie Callender's Turkey Dinner looks very familiar to me, though I don't recall ever having it on Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoyed your quiet day at home. I ate dinner with the Venezuelan lady's family. They were nice and fun people.

As for Black Friday, I make a point to avoid the malls and stores on that day. I have no one I have to buy for, and if I did, I'd prefer to do it on a quiet day away from the crowds and craziness, when I can pay attention to my purchase selections.

Well, today the Gators take on arch rival FSU. They need this win to become bowl eligible. Let's just say I'm trying to hold onto hope, but I don't have the expectations. Your Holy Men should do well.

Good Tuesday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Well, football season is over for the Gators. They played a good game against FSU, but once again, they came up just short. I see that your Holy Men had no trouble taking care of Stanford.

I figure it's cooler where you are. Right now it's 58 degrees in West Palm Beach, with a high of only 73 expected, so we'll have a couple of cooler days. But it's supposed to go back up into the mid 80s by the weekend.

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a great day today.

I’m okay, but it is quite cold at a high of 37F by day and 30F at night. Now, here’s a photo’, by a railway friend, of a class 45 diesel locomotive, at Ratcliffe on Soar, in freezing cold January, 1963.

(*8*) Good evening, Rob, John, RM

John, your temperatures are in line with ours. 74 right now and it was 47 this morning.

Rob, it makes me sliver Cold.gifto hear of your temperatures. You need wool jackets to put on your bike tyres.

Well, John, maybe next year will go better for the Gators.

Hi, Andrew, are you still eating turkey leftovers?

Everything is going well here. Hope it stays that way. Had enough trouble this summer.

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Ir's a quiet Saturday here. The weather has warmed up again here, sticky and humid, highs in the 80s and lows in the 70s. It's supposed to get a bit chilly again by the middle of next week.

Tomorrow I'm going to just north of Tampa for a friend's 70th birthday party, where I'll meet my ex and his husband, and some other friends over there.

I hope you're doing well, and you'll enjoy pew duty tomorrow!

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope you are having a great day today, and will have a lovely pew day tomorrow.

I’m okay and keeping as warm as I can in the freezing cold weather.

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope everything is going well with you. It's a bit chilly here now, in the 50s, with a high expected to be only in the low 70s today. I trust that it's also a little cooler in the desert.

(*8*) Good morning, John, Andrew, Rob,

My temperatures are the same as yours, but with lower humidity.

It's off to folder duty this morning.

Hi, Gary. (*8*) I hope you have no issues with your folder duties today.

I’m okay, and went to a Christmas market earlier on today. I bought some chocolate.
