Triple G Appreciation thread

(*8*) Good morning, John.

Lots of TV watching this time of the year. Soon college football will return. Hope many of the gator.gifgames will be broadcast here.

Good Wednesday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're dong well, watching TV and such. Yes, the Gator games will be coming up in another month or so. Hope you can get them out there.

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope everything is going well for you, and that your desert heat hasn't been too much. It's great that you had guests over, it kind of sounds like that doesn't happen too often. Come to think of it, having guests visit me is a rare occurrence these days.

(*8*) Good afternoon, John

The heat continues. We have been 118 and 121 for the last several weeks. It is 100F right now at 9AM.

I am completely out to the couple that visited. I was a relief to be totally open. This is a concretive area and gay is not well received.

The a/c in my car is making rumbling sounds, but is still working well. Hope it holds out until cooler weather.

Got up early to shower before the cold water became unbearable. It is 100F at 9AM.

I will be very happy when things cool down, if ever. Hot-Sun.jpg

Looks like I will not get any Gator games. Will have to be satisfied with the Holy men and USC.

With nothing to do, I'll be taking a nap soon.

Good Wednesday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're dealing with that desert heat OK, and that your auto AC holds up. Those temps sound brutal, but you've lived out there for a number of years, so you know what to expect.

It's good when you can be out with visitors to your house. We can be open when gay friends visit of course, but most of us have relatives and friends that we've known from elsewhere for a long time, who may not be familiar with our personal lives, that may drop in from time to time. You can relax and be yourself, and not worry about them "discovering" something.

I'm sorry you won't be getting any Gator games out there, but I'm sure you're happy about getting to see your Holy Men and USC. I'm sure it's difficult getting football games from teams outside of their fan base regions. Usually the Pacific Coast games come on cable here late at night, from about 11 until 3 in the morning, and nobody stays up to watch them.

Good Thursday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're dealing with your desert heat OK. It looks like you're enduring yet another brutal heat wave. Maybe the best thing to do is to stay home and watch movies.

Hope the thunderstorms stay away so the power stays on.

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope it hasn't been too hot out there. I'm glad you didn't get any damage from that lightning strike, though being without electricity and your communications for any length of time is a bit concerning. Hope you have a good pew duty day tomorrow.

Good Sunday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Well, the Gators didn't get it done last night. 😭 I've looked at their schedule ahead, and it is a brutal SEC lineup, with no easy games at all.

I hope your problems with your internet connection have gone away. Have a good pew duty day!

Good Sunday afternoon, Gary! (*8*)

Yesterday wasn't a good day for our teams. I saw that your Holy Men lost. And as for the Gators, when the commentators go into the record books to find the last time a Florida quarterback threw that many interceptions in a game-- well, that tells you how that game went. 😭 And it doesn't get any easier. They play Miami next week, and then Texas after a bye week.

Has your heat let up at least a little bit? Our high temps have dropped to the upper 80s, and the rain and thunderstorms have cleared up today. Though they're supposed to return by midweek.

I hope you had a good pew duty day, and maybe you'll stay in town for a little while before you return home.

Good Saturday afternoon, Gary! (*8*)

I'm glad your storms didn't wash you away, and hope that your humidity has dropped.

The Gators play Miami in a couple of hours, and I hope it's a better game than lots of people are thinking. I haven't had a chance to check the games yet today, but I hope your Holy Men and USC are winning.

Have a good pew duty day tomorrow.

That USC game didn't end until mid-night  But then they did win.

:p Hi, Andrew

Fall has fell and so have the high temperatures.

Good Sunday morning, Gary! (*8*)

I hope you're doing OK, and that all the rain and storms have been missing you. I heard they had lots of flooding in the Phoenix area. I hope also that you've gotten some relief on your temperatures.

I saw that you Holy Men won yesterday. As for the Gators, at least they didn't lose, since they had a bye week. Yes, it's been that kind of a year.

Enjoy your pew duty later today!

Good Sunday morning, Gary! (*8*)

Congrats to your Holy Men on winning yesterday.

The Gators had a good solid win over Texas yesterday, just when I was just about to write them off for this year. They never cease to surprise me. I guess that bye week was just what the doctor ordered.

I trust that things have cooled down in the desert by now, so hopefully you're not having to deal with more than manageable heat. Here in Florida, I think we're done with our 90+ degree heat, with our highs only reaching the upper 80s. It's still a bit sticky, though. We're getting showers off the Atlantic every day, but no longer the big thunderstorms. The weather people keep saying we're in for some big deluges, but so far they haven't materialized.

I hope you have a good pew duty day.

Good Saturday morning, Gary! (*8*)

It sounds like your weather is beginning to cool down, though your daytime temps are still hot. It's getting a little cooler here, with the lows supposed to start going down to the upper 60s and lower 70s, and highs only in th mid 80s. Also, we've been having lots of rain, but the forecast says they're going away after today. So our seasons are changing.

I'm hoping the Gators can pull off another upset tonight. They're probably going to have to have a lot of upsets this year if they hope to have a decent season, with the schedule they have. You Holy Men shouldn't have any problems with NC State.
