I'd heard that the day after CA hit a record high on gas, it went up double digits again, "due to a temporary reduction in supply".

I don't know the why for/how come. Do you?

Phillips 66 (PSX) is scheduled to perform work on gasoline-making units at its two California refineries this month, two people with knowledge of the schedules said. A Chevron Corp. (CVX) pipeline that delivers crude to Northern California refineries was also shut last month due to elevated levels of chloride in the oil.

Got a couple of e-mails from chezkaquez.

He didn't whine or bitch and he was posting from the office.

So, I conclude the alternator was cooperative or he is still

to pissed to talk about it. This morning he is on his Pole-

litcal soap box...

The alternator was a remanufactured one that was only a couple of weeks old - they swapped it out.

Battery was getting there; it was toast. So, had to buy a new one of that.
Picked it up tonight. I'll take it to work tomorrow.

In the grand scheme of things, it was minor - just a PITA timing wise.

Me, on a political soap box? Never, lol.

I'm all for making beautiful music and love . . .
