Well you can tell him about this one we didn't even notice til it hit the media
SALINAS, Calif. (AP) — A moderate earthquake and minor aftershocks jolted the
central California coast over the weekend but didn't cause any damage, authorities said.
Nearly 6,700 people reported feeling the magnitude 5.3-quake when it struck late Saturday
outside of King City, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its website.
USGS geophysicist Don Blakeman said the temblor struck in a "seismically active area" near
the San Andreas Fault, about 90 miles southeast of San Jose. It was followed by at least f
our aftershocks that were greater than magnitude 2.5.
Other than that, up north we went from 90f to today at 69 and rain tomorrow-Wednesday.
Giants Cards biggie tomorrow shd be okay as the 1st wave of wx is supposed to hit at 0100
and be done by 1300...possible sprinkles through game time. Won't be running over the hill
for a few days, up to 2' of snow possible at the top. The wx peeps say it is a January storm
just 3 months early. later...l
