Any future president who retrieves the #Twinkie from that 1999 time capsule better not eat it: shelf life is just three weeks

That #Twinkies last forever is just one of those silly myths that fools believe, sort of like the one about how Redskins will make playoffs

Maybe he saw the movie where they (Billy Crystal?) was on the Staten Island Ferry and said if he put a Twinkie on the railing, it would still be there 50,000 years from now due to the preservatives, while the rest of the ferry would be rotted away.
Something like that.
