How do you guys know, when a guy posting, is a troll? What are the rules? What makes a troll, a troll? If you are wrong, some guys would be hurt.

This should give you a little insight into the world of trolls:

we just know.....we have trolldar

We don't always know immediately, but we begin to catch on when somebody posts nonsense posts and threads with the intent to start an argument. Over time, we begin to recognise the signs.

Often they will post controversial threads (or turn innocent threads into controversial ones) and then demand that we post proof of our responses. When we do, it's ignored and the same old nonsense proof is posted time and time again in rebuttal.

The definition of a troll is usually someone who posts something inflammatory and then never comes back.

There's a number of different ways to describe trolls. To me, trolls are bully's who love to start fights by harassing and insulting people in forums. They'll often do this by accusing them of something, and posting blatant lies to backup their accusations. They're also fond of making misleading, deceptive remarks about their targets, as well as twisting/distorting the facts to try to turn other people against them.

Essentially, they have a very poor self-image of themselves, and they lead sad, pathetic lives cooped up in a apartment or bedroom with no real friends. The only way they can enhance their low self-esteem and feel better about themselves is to attack other people on the Internet in an attempt to bring them down to their level. In other words, they want their victims to feel as miserable as they do since "misery loves company."

JIMMY! (!)

I was always under the assumption that you knew it was a troll when the hair was really fluffy and there was a gemstone instead of a belly button...

There are also assholes who call people who they disagree with trolls.

I tend to agree with this. ^ It's true more oft than not.

However, this is a funny explanation of a troll...

Yep, that's a troll how I remember it anyway. It had a nice hole just the size of the end of my pencil! :D

But, internet trolls just like to shit stir basically, and it is best to ignore them.

A troll is a poster that crosses the border of Bitchypantsland and sets up camp in Cuntsville.

Whether he is a troll or not, I like how some pathetic posters go around posing as trolls. Oh look at me, I am so out there. Hey guys, I've posted something really stupid. Oh no there are so many negative responses to my brilliant post. Guys, calm your tits, I am just trolling. Dumb bitch, how many genuine trolls out there admit they are trolls? First rule of trolling: you don't admit you're a troll.

JUB is a easy place to troll. According to JUB, you are a troll if you: a) support the Republican party; b) post in bad english; c) support the Republican party; d) disagree with the mediocre poster of that thread whom everyone thinks he is "hot" due to our extremely low standards; e) support the Republican party; f) support the Republican party; g) support the Republican party; h) have a different opinion; i) oh and not forgetting, support the Republican party.

Trolls were something different in back in the day... I knew them as OLD guys who would prey on young 'twinks'. When did the term change to what it is now?
