I think it's both. I think online troll has the online meaning and offline it's likely to have the meaning that you meant. Although I find that the "old" part is subjective.![]()
For instance, in my local chatroom on another site, there's a creepy 60 year old guy who throws himself shamelessly at ONLY 18-22 year olds. It turns my stomach.
This kind of open lechery over a 40-ish year age gap is what I call "Troll". Someone that old and experienced who are preying on young, naive, innocent guys for their own benefits.
I'd never heard the term referring to message boards such as this until recently here at JUB.
Guess I should get out more ?!?!
