Of course they were. We already know that trump is using campaign money to cover his legal fees for the Russia probe.

If you're a Trump supporter, how do you feel that your donations aren't going to his re-election, but to cover his legal costs?

If you're an NRA member, how do you feel that part of your membership fee is funding Trump's lawyers? (NRA spent $30 million toward Trump's election.)

The simple reality is that Trump is nowhere near as wealthy as he claims to be. His businesses are built on mountains of debt, which often go unpaid when his businesses fail.

If he was truly a multi-billionaire as he claims, a few tens of millions wouldn't break the bank. But he's struggling to pay his legal fees, and struggling to find legal representation, because his reputation for mooching on legal fees is substantial.

When this payment was 1st reported and Trump lied (as usual), to me anyway, it was obviously a lie. Paying $130K of his own money without being paid back by Trump made no sense. Aren't his constant lies reason enough to get rid of this moron? My head hurts every time I hear him speak, because you just know something he is saying is a lie.

The simple fact is that Trump's deceitful reputation precedes his presidency by decades. This is not a surprise. What IS a surprise is the fact that he has so many people trying to hide it from everyone and he truly thinks that he's deceiving us.

Has there ever been a presidency in which the White House spent as much time covering the president's ass instead of running the country?

I meant that he can lie up a blue streak and you can't impeach him. You have to get him to lie TO someone under oath. Even then the House isn't going to do shit about it. They just cleared him.
