There's speculation that Trump's elevated mood (I feel better than I have in 20 years) and ALL CAP tweets are the product of the heavy doses of steroids he's being given and that there may be other effects to his brain than euphoria. Were this the self-contained Obama we'd know it was the drugs, with Trump who knows?
 
IT wants to make the world think that IT left Walter Reed, because IT is feeling better. After all, IT surely thinks that being in hospital makes IT look "weak."

My theory from this morning (long before the release at 6:30), is that it doesn't matter whether IT stays at Walter Reed, or goes back to the White House. While IT was away, I have no doubt at all that a world-class (but small) hospital was put together, all ready for today.

^ All current U.S. Presidents are never more than a few moments away from a small, world-class, 'hospital'. It's built into The White House, and the larger planes used as Air Force One. All major facilities, both here and abroad, are mapped out along all routes the pres. might take. There are also smaller units carried in the vehicles in the motorcade, along with attending medical staff. There is ALWAYS at least one doctor at the president's elbow.

Anyway. There have been a couple articles going on about how his family treats illness and with what is going on right now, is going to seem par for the course.

Now, the interesting part about this piece is how they talk about his Father and how they treated him when it came to his illness with Alzheimer's, eerily similar to how he is being treated now when it comes to bringing him back to the WH and all that.

I said it was a con job and I stand by that. Yes, he probably has it as evidenced by his atrocious behaviour before the hospital visit, his behaviour during the visit, and his behaviour after the visit. I haven't seen the video. I can't. It's not available for viewing here so I'm going by what people have said about it.

But it's still a con job. Coming back to the White House and announcing that there is nothing to fear. That feed the supporters who have believed it's a hoax all along. Perhaps now they might believe it's not a hoax, but their 'Chosen One' is telling them that it affects virtually nobody and that there is nothing to be afraid of if you do catch it.

You know, one of the challenging things for healthcare workers is when a mentally ill person gets sick. You never know whether you're dealing with the mental illness or a physical malady.

Trump has COVID-19. And almost 30 people connected with Trump also have COVID-19. That number is growing daily.

Trump is also mentally unbalanced. Something caught my ear yesterday. David Gergen, a moderate good government Republican who has served in both Republican and Democratic Administrations, made several statements yesterday about Trump's mental health.

David Gergen calling someone a "mad man" is unusual. He doesn't use words like that routinely.

Yesterday, when I watched Trump's little performance on the White House balcony, I kept feeling like I was watching something familiar. Mussolini's balcony speeches? No, not really. Evita on the balcony at the Casa Rosada? Nope, that doesn't really match either.

I think maybe it's this?

FINALLY!!!!! - SANITY AND WISDOM - I completely trust this man - Dr Atul Gawande - and I sincerely thank him for settling it in my mind. (I also trust Sunny Hostin's analysis)

 
Not to take the wind out of his sails, I think it is important that he is reiterating this stuff but that's what he is doing here. As all this stuff was happening there were plenty of experts talking about the things he is saying here.
