I hope that every homo that voted for Trump is denied critical medical care and dies after today.

Will it be Muslims next? Or Jews? Or blacks?

I'm sure that anyone can come up with a religious exemption excuse to avoid having to provide care.

I would be more upset, but I suspect this will just be one more thing that the courts knock down.

Trump is not a friend to you, Log Cabin Republicans. How anyone could support someone who is gleeful abut throwing us all under a bus to keep the evangelicals happy after all this is , well just want to throw my hands in the air and say whatever happens to you, don't look at me for sympathy. You have your chance to drop him now.. if you don't, I don't wanna hear it anymore.

Indeed, the amount of people who have thrown away any self respect and morals over this cretin is sickening, another Hitler with a slavish following.

^ So, the Hippocratic Oath means just as much as the Oath of Affirmation.

I believe most hospital groups will have their own rules about non-discrimination.

I will mention the same about Russiagate propaganda pushers.

You guys are deluded... Russian attempts to undermine us were systematic, widespread. Putin wants us fractured and dysfunctional... you are as bad as any pro Trump supporter... you're supposed to know better, in fact. The US is far from even close to perfect in its own conduct, that's a given. But that you just cannot even see Russia under Putin for what it is.... well, while I would never go so far as to wish ill on anyone I sure won't be wasting my time hoping you come around to any kind of reasonableness about this. I'm not going to change your mind but for those reading who don't post(and I wish more people would post, btw) I want them to know that going with an all or nothing approach isn't the way to go, because it will ensure you get nothing. Even FDR did questionable things that ran counter to his progressive image, but I'm not sorry he was President.... goodness knows what you Puritans of the left would have said about Robert Kennedy, who loathed liberal activists at first but became a progressive icon in later years...or Lyndon Johnson, hardly a progressive role model but getting through vital civil rights legislation, Medicare.... you all look for the perfect progressive but that person will not ever likely win... so you settle for nothing? But you're on the right side of history, lol... so give yourself a big pat on the back and a gold star just for showing up!

You guys are deluded…

I did not write the following:

I hope that every homo that voted for Trump is denied critical medical care and dies after today.

The person who wrote that is this thread’s OP.

I do not want anyone to be denied “critical medical care” and death.

Re: Trump hits the Homos Again.

[Quoted Post: Removed]

I voted in the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries for Bernie Sanders.

In the general election, I voted for Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

They both want Medicare for All.

I want Medicare for All.

Who did not, and still does not, want Medicare for All is the 2016 Democratic nominee for president of the United States (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hillary-clinton-single-payer-health-care-will-never-ever-happen/ and https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/hillary-clinton-advice-2020-democrats-medicare-all-1201645 ).

In the meantime, I, unlike this thread’s OP, do not want any person—let alone one who is homosexual—to be denied critical medical care. I also do not want anyone dead.

Only the “homos”?

(Are you really going to limit yourself?)

Yeah. I'm good with this limitation.

Because no one else has been singled out for denial of care because of [STRIKE]'religious' beliefs[/STRIKE] (raging homophobia) of someone who is supposed to be providing medical care.

So you can climb down off your big white horse.

Re: Trump hits the Homos Again.

You didn't really read the articles, did you? Otherwise, you would mention 'why' and 'who', both of which are prominent throughout both articles.

How do you make up this crap?

The medical exemption allows health care professionals to not being pressured in participating in abortions. Nothing more, nothing less.

Aren’t abortions carried out in clinics rather than hospitals? So who had religious convictions would decide to work in such a clinic?

No medical worker should have a legal right to refuse care because of their religious beliefs.

What is happening to the USA? It used to be a country I respected for its civil rights.

You have it upside down.

The First Amendment blocks the government from interfering with a person's religious beliefs.

A law that compelled someone to take part in an abortion would be unconstitutional.

As to clinics vs hospitals, only 4% of abortions are performed in hospitals, but that isn't really the point of the policy. It wasn't a policy someone in the Trump Administration just made up; it was a reversal of an Obama Administration rule that could have compelled Catholic hospitals and other religious hospitals to perform abortions.
