You the elitist the educated, most of you don't work much and get excess to the news/media all day long. (The general working public don't have these luxuries)
Don't understand estimate the voters.
Remember Brexit ??

"Might" is the key word...and of course he might win as he is one of the frontrunner choices....

The best path he has right now is Johnson getting electoral votes and Hillary losing a lot of swing states...or some major attack on America that will turn fearful people to him..ignoring that he is the candidate that ISIS has wet dreams about...

in the meantime...Nate Silver is not perfect but he has a good track record....

....as of one hour ago....

Most people know that the infamous tape was released at a time appointed by those who want desperately to see Trump lose. I have seen a rally from his supporters over it.
Clinton is now about 9 points ahead of him, the truth is, not many people are thrilled with either one, she should have left him in the dust a long time ago.
Could Trump win? Maybe, it depends upon what dirt is brought out about Clinton.
No, I don't want either of them.

^This

Of course whoever released the tape didn't like Trump, everyone knows that. The fact remains that he said those things, and it is about 90% likely he will lose the election over it.

I don't underestimate anything happening, fat lady hasn't sung yet and the power of stoopid is powerful in this (usa) country....but still i won't lose any sleep worrying about it....

Fuck that I have no problem with Hillary and anyone who says they are equally bad is delusional.

Hillary is eminently qualified, is the MOST vetted candidate ever, and will do a fucking good job. Trump is a fucking con man and racist, misogynist joke.

Pretending that there is any kind of parity is utterly stupid.

^ Uh.

Exactly this.

I was going but say the only similarities between Hillary and Trump is that they are human beings, but then I stopped when I realized Trump is not a human being.

They are not equally bad, I never said that. They both have qualities or the lack of any qualities that make me doubt them.
I find it interesting that those who are in love with Hillary call those who doubt her "stupid".
Stupid is blindly following someone and getting angry at those who choose to question them.

^ It is all about very narrow math, Telstra.

Keep calm and follow Nate Silver. At the moment:

But while we’re in something of a wait-and-see mode, one demographic split caught my eye. That was from a Public Religion Research Institute poll conducted on behalf of The Atlantic. It showed a massive gender split, with Clinton trailing Trump by 11 percentage points among men but leading him by 33 points among women. To put those numbers in perspective, that’s saying Trump would defeat Clinton among men by a margin similar to Dwight D. Eisenhower’s landslide victory over Adlai Stevenson in 1952, while Clinton would defeat Trump among women by a margin similar to … actually, there’s no good comparison, since no candidate has won a presidential election by more than 26 percentage points since the popular vote became a widespread means of voting in 1824. To get to 33 points, you’d have to take the Eisenhower-Stevenson margin and add Lyndon B. Johnson’s 23-point win over Barry Goldwater in 1964 on top of it.

Clinton is not without her issues but to suggest that she is any way not qualified to run the country is absolutely delusional. This woman has been repeatedly put through the ringer by everyone from Putin to republicans to the conservative media and has come out the other side no worse for wear.

Her opponent, on the other hand, is a basket case who has shown over and over to not have the ability to run a pitch fork in a snow bank.

I have no doubt that there's enough intelligent citizens to make the correct choice. The rest need to swallow their pride, suck it up and do what they can to help the THEIR country move forward with fixing the issues facing all Americans.

Oh of course no one ever says it, you just imply it.

I find it interesting that when pushed, you retract your insinuation.

I couldn't give a fuck if you doubt her, your opinion is utterly irrelevant to me, but I am going to say something when you play that game, because it needs to be called out.

The GOP have spent half a billion taxpayer dollars trying to discredit the Clintons.

Apart from endless rumour, innuendo and name calling, what is the substance of the claims that are constantly repeated?
The proven wrongdoing?
What out of everything that's ever been claimed was correct?

A blow job.

Everything else is empty talk (whether it's rabid and shouty, or quiet and 'knowing' folk saying it, it's been proven to be nonsense).

They're both equally corrupt, but that doesn't mean they're equally bad. in terms of how to run a government, Hillary has the abilities, Trump does not.

BTW, I ran into a guy at the grocery store yesterday who had this to say about the candidates: take the top three -- Hillary, Trump, Johnson -- and pull out their best qualities, put them all into one person, and we STILL wouldn't have a good president, just a tolerable one. Someone else chimed in that we don't seem to have the caliber of people in public life that we used to.

For my part, if Trump gets elected, the Republic is over and probably in catastrophic fashion; if Hillary gets elected the Republic will slightly accelerate its slide into the grave, and if by some miracle Johnson gets elected things are likely to get done at home while overseas we flounder. In any case, the Republic loses.

Lawrence Lessig is right: first we have to get the first election, the election by the people who control election purse strings, out of the picture, or the Republic is gone. If we don't do that, we're merely fighting over which course to destruction to follow, not the destination.
