If only someone could get their hands on his speech to see if it was actually written "7/11" :mrgreen: (or were these men and women actually at a 7/11 on 9/11? ) But I thought he was up in his golden tower that day watching what was going on in NJ...did he then run down to the site while everyone else was running away?

Typically I give people a pass when they misspeak, especially these politicians that speak so much and have to recall so many facts and figures, but the repugs have been so critical of Obama for his misspeak on going to all 57 states, that it'll be nice to throw this back at the Trumpsters when the occasion calls for it.
 
The saddest thing today is that 538 has Trump winning New York with 52.1%...I wonder if Cruz ever regrets mouthing the phrase 'New York Values'.

Speaking of stupid things that come out of candidates' mouths, that is.

He made a big deal about Jon Stewart changing his name....so it was revealed by John Oliver that the Trumps had anglicized their original German surname.
 
Trump is many things - most of them not very good

This is an unfortunate misspeak but really not a big deal IMO

I'll add that I find it funny that this matters more than someone "misspeaking" about the Reagan's.
 
^ Nope. But Hillary took a lot of shit for that from everyone.

And it isn't like it matters. But for the GOP, who have taken every mis-speak by Obama and used it to 'prove' that he was ignorant of facts or incapable of being president ...or for Drumpf, who made this blunder after saying he had written all this down because it was so important....this looks so good on them.
 
I'm not sure that I understand why a Trump gaffe would necessarily come to reflect on Hillary?
 
This goes to show how uniformed Trump is to run for the office of president.
