Donald Trump is a man who has always gotten what he wants. He's not getting what he wants this time, and he's finding that he can't make an entire nation give it to him. So, rather than admit to losing the presidency, he's been spouting claim after claim after claim that certain people and various organisations are rigging the election to take the presidency away from him. He simply cannot admit that he alone is losing it.

But to what end?

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump keeps peddling the notion the vote may be rigged. It's unclear whether he understands the potential damage of his words, or simply doesn't care.

Trump's claim, made without evidence, undercuts the essence of American democracy, the idea that U.S. elections are free and fair, with the vanquished peacefully stepping aside for the victor. His repeated assertions are sowing suspicion among his most ardent supporters, raising the possibility that millions of people may not accept the results on Nov. 8 if Trump loses.

I hope he serves as a mirror to the millions of people who have fallen into the "it is always someone else's fault" mode of living...

I have a most difficult time with people who have that personality trait..and there are alot of them out there.

Hopefully at least some of them recognize themselves and change....

When he loses......it is all on him. Not only did he disgrace his own name..he brought the Republicans down with him....

He's a horrid man--as his biographer has said---he doesn't care about anyone or anything but himself----but he'll have to start a cable station from this shit mess he's created----because many will boycott his hotels---condo's and golf course's----one expert put it this way---unless he goes down in flames---if the election is even slightly close----his followers will think they are running the gop----which for normal thinking repubs is their biggest nightmare. If he loses big time----the normal repubs will have an easier time to reinvent themselves. Which means acting more like Democrats. ;)

One of my mom's friends heard this and said it was the last straw. She wasn't going to vote because she despises Hillary, but said it's kind of like a choice between falling in some shit and drowning in shit: it's a lot better to fall in it -- so she's voting for Hillary.

That's three people I know who are going to vote for Hillary because Trump is just so vile, who find the idea of another Clinton in the White House nauseating. Two of them have never voted for a Democrat in their lives!

What this proves is that Trump is indeed a leader. He's the worst kind of leader. His cause will go down in flames and it will take all souls on board with it.

I'm a religious man from my onset, and it continues to evolve based upon life's experiences. At this point, now I see why God spent SO much time warning against false prophets and those who want their ears tickled with flattery and sweet words. In this case, it is applicable both to Trump and his followers. Both are heavily deluded. It appears Trump often is duped by his own lies over time.

And his followers seem to have listened to flattering accounts that have grown more and more obviously false over time, yet they have hardened their hearts until they have become blind to the truth.

Woe.

I hope these rigging claims hurt him, at this point it is getting so tiring to see new claims he is making everyday. It's one of the most pathetic things I have seen coming from a Presidential Candidate. Just another check mark on why he shouldn't be POTUS, this man takes absolutely no responsibility for himself and can never own up to being wrong or making a mistake. And it's not like we needed another reason.

I honestly believe there is something really off about the individuals who will still vote for him.

What Trump is also doing by blaming the media for rigging the election is laying the groundwork for millions of his followers to turn away from mainstream media...including FOX, and to follow him on the alt/right Trump Network that he, Ailes and Bannon will launch after he loses the election.

His persistent, shrill attacks on the same msm that gave him over a billion dollars in free time during the first 9 months of this ordeal are too calculated and too on-message.

Along the way, he and Bannon have no issue with undermining the faith of Americans in their democratic institutions and federal government.

As it is, they have guaranteed themselves 4 years at least of stories digging up dirt and attacking Hillary, Democrats and all the Republicans who have not supported Trump.

With the exception of the NRA, they'd likely have some trouble getting advertising.

LOL...I often cringe when I use anecdotal examples too often and I held this back more than 10 times already...on line and in the 3-D world...since there are so many other things to call out..it's a goddamn buffet with Trump....

My ex...had alot of qualities like Trump...so did someone I worked with for years...and I figured out with both of them and people like them if you want to find out what shit they are up to..listen to what they are telling you other people are doing to them.....it is like clockwork when you tune into it....you can even count on it..bet on it if you want to get rich...

I noticed this with Trump too...and Republicans in general for years...but refrained from mentioning it..til now....

Case closed. I knew when he said they were rigged he was the one doing the rigging....

See, he did say he'll be a bring people together kinda guy. In fact, he's kinda rallied a lot of opposition against himself, and brought this unlikely bunch of bedpartners together. Let's give Donald Trump credit where it's due.

In the mind of a Trump voter, if the good ol' boy white man can't win the election, then surely there must be voter fraud.

In 1948, the polls consistently showed Truman would lose.

Trump could win if Dems become complacent.

Security for the debate here is unbelievably tight. Can''t get near the UN auditorium.

Polls also predicted an Stevenson would win, but computers do a better job, even the UNIVAC.

Good.

Obama has told Trump to Stop Whining....

I loved when he said that, if you're whining before the game is even over, you don't have what it takes for this job.

Hell, Trump isn't even qualified to wash dishes or scrub a floor, and I would bet that he doesn't even know how to make a grilled cheese sandwich.

The best part is that Obama is clearly laughing at Trump.
