Ironically, in 2016 Rupert Murdoch said that he would not support Trump's candidacy for President because he was afraid that Trump would wreck the Republican party and make it a minority party again for a decade.

Meanwhile, Sean Duffy seems to not have a grasp on his department either.

Poor Sean-From-The-Real-World thought he was taking on a cushy cabinet position that would be a piece of cake. He also thought that he would be wheeling and dealing on infrastructure projects that were approved in the last Administration.

If he would have talked to his predecessor and found out about the underfunded FAA or if he would have read Project 2025 and realized that the cuts to transportation safety would stick to him like a tar ball, he could have declined. Instead, he's going to be the guy who was in charge when planes kept falling out of the sky and the American public rediscovered cars and trains because they're afraid to fly.

I read this morning that the Library of Congress is not an executive agency.

It is organized and managed under the Congressional legislation.

The President appoints the Librarian with Senate Confirmation for a 10yr term.

The President plays no role in managing the library and has no authority to fire the Chief Librarian.

So where is this going to end up?

Another of Trump "K" staff picks, Kash Patel, is apparently too busy doing photo ops, attending sporting events and hanging out with celebrities to show up for his job as the head of the FBI.

Two current FBI officials said Patel sometimes seems uninterested in the materials, forcing them to try to create briefs that will hold his attention.

The White House pulled the Surgeon General nomination. Dr Janette Nesheiwat was another Fox News contributor that Trump hired off TV. Apparently, the nomination was pulled after it was discovered Dr Nesheiwat has a medical degree from a sketchy Caribbean diploma mill. Nesheiwat also apparently fell out of favor with Laura Loomer, the President's unofficial human resources department.
