Humor-Satire Trump Staff Picks, Co-Conspirators and the Revolving Door of Departures [2024 Edition]

He's separated from his wife but "we love each other and it's hard to be apart." How is that the job's fault if they are separated?

Also, he admits that he does not like his job. He's not going to last long in it.
Bongino is what Bill Clinton used to refer to as a "post turtle".

This is someone who sat in his house podcasting about right wing conspiracy theories about the Deep State. He made a shitload of money and owns a stake in right-wing chat site Parler that was used by the Jan 6th crowd.

The only place he's going to find sympathy is in the dictionary, under "S".

So let's summarize shall we?

And DUI hire Pete Kegseth...

The top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee has warned Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that he could be “on the hook” for hundreds of millions of dollars for having accepted a luxury jet from the Qatari government.

In a letter sent Wednesday, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) argued that Hegseth’s formal acceptance of the Boeing 747 jetliner last month — a move made so the Air Force can upgrade its security measures so it may eventually be used as Air Force One — violates the Constitution Emoluments Clause. The rule bars federal officials from accepting financial benefits from foreign governments without congressional approval.

Trump's AG could be disbarred.

Pam Bondi is a bad liar.

After she gets a bar complaint against her, she does a press conference to promote a bunch of trumped us charges against Kilmar Abrego-Garcia... charges that she said were investigated after her DOJ disappeared an immigrant to a concentration camp in El Salvador, in violation of a court order. She fired the DOJ attorney who appeared in a Federal Court and refused to lie to the judge about what her DOJ did.

The Supreme Court, in a 9-0 decision, told her over a month ago that she had to return Abrego-Garcia to the US. The Trump Administration then claimed that they "couldn't" bring him back.

Now, Bondi claims that Abrego-Garcia is a human trafficker and accused him of "grooming" children to be gang members, even though they have not charged him with any of the things she stated in her press conference. She spent a significant part of her DOJ press conference doing the Trump ass-kissing that she does daily on Fox News.

She's a liar. She's making up charges after-the-fact, after she defied a court order and ignored a Supreme Court order.

This is why Bondi needs to lose her law license.

Ron Filipkowski today:

Really shocked that an admin filled with podcasters, social media influencers, reality TV participants, indicted felons, crypto bros, drunks, Fox hosts, drug addicts, weirdos, and unqualified ass kissing toadies can’t keep their shit together for 24 consecutive hours.

ICE Barbie offers another opinion that no one asked for.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem declared Los Angeles a “city of criminals” while slamming Mayor Karen Bass (D) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) handling of ongoing protests against the Trump administration’s immigration raids.

“Today, we had over 400 to 500 targets we were going after that were known members of gangs in L.A. that have been victimizing people for years, that Gavin Newsom has done absolutely nothing about, that Mayor Bass has done absolutely nothing about,” Noem said during a Monday night appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity.”

Los Angeles, the second largest city in the US, was settled by Spanish settlers in 1781 and the current population of the city is about 50% Latino. About 1 in 10 residents of LA is undocumented. Every business in LA runs because of immigrant labor and every construction site is dependent upon immigrant labor. The rebuilding of the city after the fires depends on immigrant labor.

These clueless people in DC are playing with fire.

DUI hire Sec of Defense Pete Hegseth was on Capitol Hill this week, testifying in front of the Senate. It was like watching a freshman drama student.

At one point, Dick Durbin [D-IL] asked Hegseth to give an example of a wasteful program that he eliminated.

Hegseth said, "Tens of millions of dollars for marbles in the rear ends of cats!.

This is what the far right does. They say something ridiculous and their minions nod in agreement because it's all inductive reasoning. The MAGA crowd believes that the guvmint is wasting their money, so they're primed to believe anything that comes out of the mouths of the MAGA talking heads.

Here's what the truth is...

This was a 10 million dollar (not "tens of millions") 5 year study at multiple locations that was funded during the first Trump Administration:
The University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $10,451,439 cost-reimbursement agreement to develop revolutionary new treatment approaches for spinal cord injuries that integrate injury stabilization, regenerative therapy and functional restoration. This five-year contract includes no options. Work will be performed at the contractor’s facilities in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (37%); Goose Creek, South Carolina (35%); and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (28%). The period of performance of this award is from Sept. 30, 2020, through Sept. 29, 2025. Fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,380,172 will be obligated at the time of award. This agreement was competitively procured via a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency broad agency announcement solicitation published on the beta.SAM.gov website. Twelve proposals were received and three were selected for award. The Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N66001-20-C-4050).

One of the most serious injuries in soldiers is spinal cord injuries. It can happen from a gunshot wound, but in the case of Afghanistan and Iraq, many of the injuries resulted from land mines and IEDs exploded under a transport vehicle.

Anyone who has known someone with a spinal injury knows that bowel function is a big issue. If you have impaired sensation below the waist, taking a shit becomes a big ordeal. Often spinal cord patients have to have a home health aid insert evacuation suppositories or use enemas into their rectums to trigger bowel movements. In extreme cases, the stool has to be removed by inserting fingers in the rectum and "digging it out" with a finger.

The study that Hegseth dismissed with a sentence about cats was a study at the University of Pittburgh of a device that would research better ways to treat patients with spinal cord injuries. The 5 year study looked at various therapies. One of the many studies looked at options to stimulate the nerves to the intestine to have spinal cord injured patients be able to empty their bowels. The study did not use human subjects but instead used anesthetized cats and the marbles were inserted to simulate constipation to see if the device was able to trigger evacuation of the marbles from the cat's rectum.

But in the MAGA world, it was study to stick marbles up a cat's ass.

Just in time for hurricane season, there has been a mass exodus of long-time leadership at FEMA. These aren't the appointees. These are the permanent managers who managed hundreds of disasters for years. In one day, leaders with 228 years of combined experience submitted their resignations.

NOAA has released its first official outlook for the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season. Their forecast calls for a more active season with totals between average and the above-average numbers we saw last season.

FEMA senior officials exit en masse as Trump targets agency
The agency, which coordinates the federal response to natural disasters, has been roiled by the loss of hundreds of staff and low morale since finding itself targeted by President Donald Trump.

The US Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the departure of 16 senior executives on Wednesday, a significant shakeup of its leadership ranks less than two weeks before the start of what is expected to be a busy hurricane season.

Those leaving include MaryAnn Tierney, a 26-year emergency management veteran who until May 9 had been the agency's acting No. 2, as well as key people in finance and disaster response, according to internal emails seen by Reuters.

Head of FEMA's storm response center leaving agency amid leadership exodus

The head of FEMA's National Response Coordination Center — a position responsible for the government's response to storms — submitted his resignation letter Wednesday and will formally depart the agency in two weeks.

Jeremy Greenberg's planned departure comes less than two weeks into hurricane season and amid a major leadership exodus at the nation's disaster response and recovery agency.

Of course he would be apprehensive about any such practice: it could cause him severe brain injury. There's little room for marbles in there.

Unsurprised.

Miller is the spider at the center of the web controlling just about everything.

Unsurprised.

Miller is the spider at the center of the web controlling just about everything.

We learned nothing in 4 years.

From April, 2019:
As we enter the last 22 months of President Trump's first (and possibly last) term, one thing is certain: Trump believes that his extreme immigration policy, which continues to rip apart mostly Central American families and other asylum seekers, will be the determining factor in whether he sees a second term.

And in an administration that continues to redefine how right to the right an American presidency can be on immigration, the Sunday resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen proved that the country's most extreme anti-immigration nationalists, with the ear of White House Senior Adviser Stephen Miller, has officially taken over the administration's agenda. (Miller not only played a reported role in Nielsen’s resignation, but is also calling for changes to be made at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.)

Amid cuts at the FDA and the CDC, there's a listeria outbreak occurring from frozen dinners sold by Walmart and Kroger. Three people have died and 17 have been sickened- just from one brand of Home Chef frozen meals. Listeria can also trigger miscarriages and the meals are believed to have resulted in one fetal death.

Ready-to-eat chicken fettuccine Alfredo meals sold at Walmart and Kroger have been recalled after a listeria outbreak that has led to 17 illnesses including three deaths and one fetal loss.

US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service is investigating the outbreak, which has sickened people in 13 states. The outbreak strain had been identified in ill people from August 2024 through May 2025 and FSIS said the same strain was isolated from routine testing in a FreshRealm establishment in March. FSIS is still investigating whether a specific ingredient in the chicken fettucine Alfredo is the source of the outbreak.

These are worth watching just for the creativeness of the faux cross that Lisandra wears:
