Nonsense. A lot of women like flirting and joking etc which could be called harassment if unwelcome. Clarence Thomas was demonized for alleged off color jokes. Many women would have enjoyed them and his accuser did not disclose what her own reaction was at the time.

So the rational thing to do is not engage in behavior that women who don't "enjoy it" find objectionable. Otherwise you're just a predator gambling that your victim will "like it".

Stay on Topic. This isn't about you beating your personal dead hobby horses.

The maladroit and pernicious appointments to every department make it very clear that the intent was to make the Federal Administrative Departments grind to a halt or to demonstrate such incompetence as to undermine all credibility, including the State Department...your personal opinion on whether this is a great thing is of no relevance...it does not change the fact that Bannon and Co. are intent on inflicting mortal damage on the established government.

I think you're being overly generous to Trump by saying there's "intent". The circus he's running appears a lot more like an unscripted tragicomedy with no plot.

One of the big reasons many people voted for him was to get originalist federal judges appointed. From what I can find, though, there are a hundred-plus positions unfilled, and I can't find any evidence he's nominated more than ten. Not having a slate ready for all the empty positions so as to at least cement that side of a legacy shows complete incompetence.

Trump’s education secretary apparently sees no problem with giving federal money to schools that reject queer kids.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said Wednesday that states should have the flexibility to decide whether schools can discriminate against LGBTQ students ― even if those schools get federal money.

During a testy exchange in a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing, Rep. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) told DeVos about Lighthouse Christian Academy, a private school in Indiana that receives state voucher money but denies admission to students from families where there is “homosexual or bisexual activity” or someone “practicing alternate gender identity.” Clark asked DeVos, whose budget seeks a $250 million increase for projects that include vouchers for private schools, if she would step in if that Indiana school applied for such federal funding.

DeVos replied by saying she supports giving flexibility to states.

I agree. She's a great example of being unable to think past her talking point. I don't think she was being evasive, I think she just can't wrap her mind around any possibility that doesn't fit her "parents' choice" mantra. She may be smarter than a fifth grader, but I can't see how she graduated from Calvin College -- I know some guys who went there, and her display in the video is an insult to the institution.
