Trump this.

She looks like someone forced her into a hooker outfit, and she's feeling violated and vulnerable about it.

That is just humiliating; I hope that's a real reaction to being dressed like a slut whose only value is the boobs he bought, and not just a coincidental photo. Either way kinda shrieks what they actually think about her and her whole gender. If that was my woman, I'd have never agreed to be in proximity to something so unbelievably crass and trashy.

But of course, we know nothing about the context of that photo.

What was that Guilfoyle?

'The Best is Yet to Come?'

I don't think that either she or Don the Con Jr. are well these days. The blow is taking its toll.

When will they learn: everything Trump touches dies.

The folks over at NBC and MSNBC are pissed about the network hiring a professional gaslighter who enabled and participated in an attempt to overthrow the 2020 election.

The uproar inside NBC over Ronna McDaniel’s hiring spilled into Monday morning as more of the network’s top personalities denounced the deal with the former RNC chair, escalating a battle over the relationship between powerful media companies and Donald Trump’s loyalists.

The decision to hire McDaniel, which was unanimously supported by top network executives, has already divided and destabilized one of America’s most storied news organizations, with internal dismay flaring on text chains and Slack channels since the deal was announced late last week.

As I said in the media meltdown thread, I agree with Chuck Todd.

For them to hire a Trumpist shill to polish turds is unbelievable...no matter that she was kicked out of the RNC by Trump.

She will have zero credibility because of her time at the RNC....what the fuck was NBC thinking?

McDaniel is a mixed bag. She was the first female head of the RNC. She was the longest serving chair at 7 years as the head of the RNC. She was also a successful big donor fundraiser at a time when the overall party has been on the decline.

But when she hitched her wagon to Trump, stood by and openly lied about the 2020 election, helped with the attempts to overturn the election (including the Fake Electors scheme), then started paying Trump's legal bills with donor money... not to mention that she was in charge when they lost elections in 2018, 2020 and 2022.

NBC hired McDaniel before an November election that she was a leading figure in the planning for? It sounds like NBC needs to fire some of the management in their news division.

It will be interesting to hear Rachel Maddow's thoughts
I was thinking to myself. "These are the daytime journalists who are usually restrained. The evening crowd, starting with Nicolle Wallace through Lawrence O'Donnell are going to put NBC on blast.".

It's a credit to the network that these employees are willing to speak out against their own management. Brian Seltzer didn't fare as well over at CNN. And Fox fired a bunch of people for telling the truth about Biden winning the 2020 election.

It is also a clear signal from the bench that they expect the final penalty amount to be less than 175 million. They are telegraphing to the other billionaires that judgments will be less than 50% so that they can work it into their business plan.

Meanwhile, let's focus on what counts.

It was brilliant! I posted about it in the other Media thread. It was nearly a 30-minute take-down of both NBC and McDaniel. I'm trying to find a link to the full show.

I can only hope that Mary Trump is right.

"While the media was focused on trying to convince us that the bond reduction was an unmitigated win for Donald, the results of a hearing in a courtroom a few blocks away was an unmitigated disaster for him…
Here’s what happened and what it means:
As Donald sat in the courtroom, Judge Juan Merchan cut through his attempts to delay his election fraud case and scolded Donald’s attorneys for accusing the Manhattan DA’s office of prosecutorial misconduct with zero evidence.
As Merchan grew “uncharacteristically furious,” Donald reportedly “stood and scowled.”
Scowl harder, Donald.
But why did the New York election fraud case became Donald’s worst nightmare?
At the close of the hearing, and despite protests from Donald’s attorneys, Judge Juan Merchan set the trial to begin on April 15.
Prosecutors have told the court they will need 15 to 17 days at minimum to present their case. Judge Merchan has already made it clear he won’t tolerate any unnecessary delays.
What this really means is that today’s decision made it more likely that we will get a criminal verdict before the 2024 election, possibly with a few months to spare.
Up to 53% of key swing state voters say they would refuse to vote for Donald if he were convicted of a criminal offense.
While the media will tell you Donald won today, he actually faces a better chance of being a convicted for a crime and being sentenced to prison before the election. That, in turn, makes it significantly less likely for him to win in November.
On top of that, New York State is one step closer to being made whole if they can secure that $175 million bond. That is, if Donald even has that much.
I’ll take that news. How about you?
"

And now Trumps will be billionaires again.

And now Trumps will be billionaires again.

It's worse than that. One of the guys behind all of this is Jeff Yass, the richest man in the state of Pennsylvania. Same Jeff Yass who is a major funder of libertarian think-tank, the Cato Institute.

The same Jeff Yass who is a major investor in the company that owns TikTok, the same Jeff Yass that met with Trump at Mar-A-Lago a few weeks back immediately before Trump announced he was opposed to the Congressional effort to ban TikTok.

The same Jeff Yass who is a major backer of the privatization of the public school system.

The same Jeff Yass that has already donated $46 million to Republican candidates for the 2024 election.

This is what oligarchy looks like.
