Let’s be clear: Trump wasn’t talking about policy. He wasn’t talking about security. He was talking about race. About who he thinks deserves to be American—and who he thinks doesn’t.

This is the same Ilhan Omar who came to the U.S. as a refugee, became a citizen, built a life, and rose to Congress. Meanwhile, Trump—whose grandparents came here fleeing poverty—spent the morning ranting about “garbage people” while standing in a taxpayer-funded mansion he’s covered in gold plating.

The cruelty, the racism, the projection—it’s all the same Trump playbook. But today, he ripped the mask off completely.

I won't for a minute discount or excuse the Somali crime families who have shipped out some really bad actors...we saw this in Toronto in the 80's and 90's as they emerged as an organized crime presence...until they weren't.

But we have seen this for over 200 years with settlement communities of all races.

History is replete with stories of gangs forming to control their own communities, drugs...etc.

But they all aren't brown folks. Or just the Chinese. Or Russians.

I will comment that the defendants in the Florida case were Cuban immigrants. That convicton- which involved 866,000 false claims and involved an investigation of 22 providers who conspired with the owners of the company - was the largest Medicare fraud conviction in American history.

So the Somali case might be a bit darker than "brown" and might have something to do with whether the defendants have millions of dollars to donate to political campaigns? And how they voted?

The problem is that unless Trump is actually exposed as a pedo, no future prez is likely to touch it.
