Some people in contested places will abandon him, most won't, and the people in the cave where live the trogs will go running right back as soon as there is another vote with which to threaten them.

He won't ask permission to come to other people's rallies, he'll just usurp them and take all the cash. Just like last time.

I wonder if Herschel is too stupid to realize who's taking the money - or if he actually believes that the toad will willingly let go of even a penny.

The crazy thing is that he has no new material at all. He's not even trying when you listen to him.

I don't think he has anyone around him left that's capable of being sane. Even the daughter wife and the weasel ditched him - and Junior was nowhere to be seen. Not that sanity is high on their list of priorities, it does appear however that their noses for self-preservation have kicked in.
