Far from insane.

It is a pernicious and well thought through strategy.

Trump would completely control the Legislative Branch.

It is also a way of getting complete control over messaging again and raking in the dough.

Trump can't plan past next week. So many times during his reign the pundits or other pubs came up with some Machiavellian masterplan to tack onto him, but it was all bunk, he just reacts to his widdle hurt feelings, and even if he picks up a plan from someone around him, he's incompetent to implement it and has the attention span of a toddler.

We should be focusing on Moscow Mitch and the filibuster. The toad is just going to go whine to the trogs endlessly to make bank off it, and revel in the camaraderie of his fellow bigots - until they are no longer paying for it.

The 'pubs are fooling themselves if they think that he's going to help any of them with anything, let alone give them any of the cash. The only things he'll do are things that inflate his ego. Being one out of 435 is not on that list.

Bedsides, hopefully he'll be in prison.

Make no mistake. Left to his own devices, Trump couldn't plan and execute a fuck up in a whorehouse.

But he didn't in 2016 either. It was the dark men like Bannon and a host of others like the Mercers who crafted the strategy for Trump to win and just used him as their front man.

It would be no different this time.

Bannon was already the one trying to orchestrate Trump running for the Senate in 2022.
