Trump this.

Just consider: this case against Trump and his criminal offspring might never have materialized were it not for the 15 minutes he spent with Stormy Daniels.

That led to the criminal case against his fixer, Michael Cohen.

...and Cohen's testimony helped lead to the probe of Trump's alleged fraud.

The Trump story of hubris and vanity is like something about of an Ibsen play or a Greek tragedy.

Trump blathers on about a birth certificate in 2008. Then in 2011, Barack Obama tells a joke about him at a dinner...

Ten years later, it all leads to his undoing.

I know this sounds really lazy and maybe too optimistic, but as far as Trump and the GOP as a whole, do we have to actively engage them and duke it out at the ballot or can we just let them do their thing and self destruct? kinda feels like that's where it's headed, they're digging themselves further into criminality and alienating pretty much anyone who isn't a hitler or putin enthusiast. i mean when your lawyers need lawyers you're clearly going the wrong way down a one-way street. is this too naive?

You play the long game.

Fight voter suppression. Fight efforts like gerrymandering that give the minority control over the majority. Expose where the money is coming from.

And vote, vote, vote.

Time and numbers are not in their favor.

delusional

[ dih-loo-zhuh-nl ]

adjective
  1. having false or unrealistic beliefs or opinions: Senators who think they will get agreement on a comprehensive tax bill are delusional.
  2. Psychiatry. maintaining fixed false beliefs even when confronted with facts, usually as a result of mental illness: He was so delusional and paranoid that he thought everybody was conspiring against him.

Trump's lawyers are caught between a rock and a hard place. Do I lie for my client or do I lose my law license? No sympathy. There's only one type of person that would choose to defend this man. If I worked for a firm that he commissioned and was forced to represent him, I'd call in sick every day. I'd go to a covid ward at the hospital and run around without a mask taking sips from everyone's bottle of water. You will NOT see me step foot in nann nobody's courtroom to defend this man. You can't. Hence why Trumps lawyers always end up needing.... lawyers.

Can we call it now? I'm not saying I'm Nostradamus but this is gonna happen:

He request a special master, got it, requested Dearie, got him, by September 30th when his evidence of planting evidence is due he's going to call Dearie a liar or a liberal something something or say he's in cahoots with democrats to destroy his unblemished (pause for laughter) record.
