Before I leave the earth I would like to know what the difference between mentally ill and just plain evil is.

I agree but in his case cannot a mentally ill person choose to be evil?

I would guess the vast majority of mentally ill people are not evil which makes me wonder if truly evil people are often regarded as mentally ill when the truth is they are just evil or maybe likecityboy-stl said above it is just a circle.
