Given that the new owner is a Trump sucking GQP oligarch...hardly surprising that it is going in this direction.
The real disappointment has been Chris Licht, who produced Colbert all these years but is now turning into another cynical lackey in a position where he can do real damage.
We stopped watching CNN in 2014 or 2015 as they became more and more hysterical and then basically gave Trump all the oxygen in the room for eyeballs...helping to elevate ugly celebrity over substance.

I'm watching MSNBC more and more these days. CNN by claiming this "both sides" nonsense is just allowing themselves to become the vector of disinformation and deceit. They are rapidly losing credibility.
I think I'll watch, though, at least a little, to see how they handle it. But if it is clear from the beginning, they are going to allow this "town hall" to be nothing but a lying fascist propaganda fest, I could be out of there in the first 5 minutes.

I watched enough to see that he has not changed, indeed he is worse. It was what I expected, and the claps and cheers of his ignoramus supporters was beyond nauseating.
