I have to say, having Andy Vanderbilt Cooper scold his viewers for not appreciating what CNN had done really made me lose any lingering respect for him as well.

I was embarrassed for him, and the shit he was spewing was transparently justification. No, Anderson, nothing is served by giving an insane Toad an hour and a half to spew lies and invective, that gains nothing, and no, these people are not half of the country, and we have all been tediously aware of every obscenity they support for years.

I don't see she has much choice but to sue again. Otherwise, if it goes unchallenged, she will become part of his schtick routine at every speech and rally.

Speaking of suing Licht, the revelation that Licht told Trump to go out and 'have fun with it' after Trump bragged to him he would boost their ratings has pretty much cost him any goodwill notion that he may not have been prepared for Trump to be so Trump.

It only made it nakedly clear it wasn't an actual Town Hall...it was a carefully staged Trump rally.

Licht and CNN will never be taken seriously as a source for journalism again.

The problem is that if it looks like Trump would be the only one to get them the White House, they will all line up to kiss his anal ring again.

We know what sort of thing he'd say, and neither the question nor any lies he told in response would deter Trump's fans.

For people who oppose Trump, his age is simply one more of the countless reasons he is unfit for office.

So bringing up Trump's age doesn't seem worth the bother, because it probably won't change anyone's mind.

By the way, the reason people other than partisan conservatives are bringing up Biden's age are doing it because they're scared it's a factor that will keep low-info voters from voting for Biden; if we knew for sure that it wouldn't be an electoral liability, we'd quit worrying about it.

Biden gets asked about his age all the time. Trump doesn't. Biden's age is constantly brought up directly to him by the media. Why is Trump exempt? He is only 4 years younger than Biden. If the "both sides" media keeps harping at Biden about his age, then the "both sides" media should be confronting Trump as well; "you're almost as old as Biden, aren't you?". And every time the Reich wing brings up Biden's age, Trump's age should be shoved right back in their face. CNN had the perfect opportunity to do it, but they didn't. That's the point.

If you watched, you will see that there was no 'both sides'. There wasn't even any pretense.

It was a handpicked audience of Trumpists and Collins was a total bust as interviewer...in part because she doesn't want to lose her 'special' access to Trump.

But what you think CNN should do and what they did do are two different things.

They don't give a shit right now about 'both sides'.

They are in a panicked freefall in ratings and allowed Trumpt to spew a firehose of lies without checking because it was a ratings week and Licht was hired to sell soap and to kiss Malone's friend Trump's ass.
