I also don't think it's good that Trump isn't asked about his age, but I understand why.

What I was getting at in my previous response is that when you know that Trump is just going to spout lies about his age and health, there doesn't seem to be much point in asking him. (And yeah, that means there's no point in asking him anything at all. That's why so many people are mad at CNN.)

I agree that when other Republicans complain about Biden's age, Trump's age should be thrown back at them, along with his mental state. They won't concede, but most of them aren't as good at blustering nonstop as Trump is, and getting other Republicans all flustered probably is useful.

There is no privilege if they, say... conspired to obstruct justice. If Tim can give the FED reasonable suspicion of that, they will deal. I suspect that he'll eventually be offering proof that not only did they tell Toad he could just ignore the subpoena - since no one was going to raid a former President: but they actively helped him obstruct - since no one was going to raid a former President.

What's clear is that these lawyers are not acting as officers of the court, they are criminals yes men willing to break the law. Which I suppose is not surprising at all.

That's my take on it too, I suspect that he has, or has access to evidence that puts them all in the same room discussing obstruction clearly, and doesn't want to go to jail.

Plus, that is a viper's nest, when the FED comes, he who rats first, laughs last.

I'm afraid, TX-Beau, that there will always be people who need to be told, or reminded, of that.

Among other things, there are, and will always be, a certain number of "moderate" and/or apolitical people, as well as some liberals, who have a lot of trouble accepting that so many ordinary people can be that hateful.

(For instance, there are a surprising umber of straight men -- I think one survey had almost 25% of respondents -- who would be perfectly happy to rape a woman if they could be sure they would never be caught or punished. I think an awful lot of people would have trouble accepting that; they'd dismiss it as, you know, "locker-room talk.")
