So, in the event of a guilty verdict, the least charge carries a five-year max, one carries a 10-year max, 2 carry 20 years and would effectively be a life sentence.

Again. Trump will almost certainly never spend a night in jail because of the detrimental reflection on the state of the US government,

The courts will be endlessly tied up in appeal after appeal while Trump and his horrible children continue to fleece the stupid and intellectually vulnerable.

Until he is charged with a criminal offense that carries the death penalty, no one is taking this seriously.

The GQP are still circling their wagons to protect his thunderously gargantuan flanks because they know if he goes down, they all go down.

The CIA, FBI, Justice and State Department are never going to let Americans know what they really have on Trump because it would look like a baboon's ass sticking up into the air.

Until this monster is in handcuffs, in an orange suit and treated like the criminal he is, I will continue to declare that the US has no intention of limiting his actions or punishing him.

He is like a Napoleon. And his tomb will be in the Washington Cathedral.
 
If he gets convicted of any of these, there must be jail time. Appeals, as always require a flaw in the trial process to go anywhere, he doesn't get one just because. That is only allowed in capital cases. They can throw appeals at the court that decides such things forever while Toad rots, but they have to clear the legal bar before that goes anywhere, and barring a stupid unforced error on the part of this judge, there is nothing here that merits appeal so far.

Neither can a defendant stay out of prison forever while their lawyers throw appeals at the court. We are no longer in civil trial territory, or in misdemeanor territory, or even in minor felony territory. Sometimes they are allowed to stay out until it's accepted or rejected - the first time - but Toad can't just remain free forever and toss appeals at the court to just stay out of jail.

BUT the biggest probability is that Toad forces the judge, and the court to lock his Toady ass up because he just. can't. shut. up.

He'll keep pushing and lying and defaming and threatening until there is no choice but to act. That's why he's in this trouble in the first place. He thinks the law does not apply to him, and he's going to push it until he goes over the edge.

I suspect his support is actually far less pervasive than the jabbering heads would have us believe.

We have to remember that as of today, the Dems have 270 on the electoral map, and barring a Toady orange Miracle, he's already lost.

Actually, the Judge cautioned the Donald not to "influence a juror or try to threaten or bribe a witness or retaliate against anyone’ connected to the case". And, knowing the Donald's propensity for bombast, he'll have a hard time keeping his trap shut :rotflmao:
